Man I stumbled across this like 12 years ago, and I forgot the name of the comic! Can’t believe I rediscovered it.

When I find myself feeling overwhelmed I go out to the vegetable garden. It’s quiet and calm, and there’s always something that needs to be done that doesn’t involve punching nazis.

I’m in the World of Mammon right now on my current play through! I’ve beat it twice before, but every now and then I just get the urge to play it again.

My dad grew up on a farm in the Mississippi delta so I’ve got several good ones:
“Ahhh, Sooie!” - My grandad after a refreshing drink of sweet tea.
“Polecat” - also grandad. As a kid I thought it was a unique species and not a skunk.
“Snake Doctor” - dad, referring to a dragonfly.

Internet Archive, maybe? Definitely seems like a good use case for document scanning technology.

And then there’s Homeschool parents who have like 8 kids they must keep within sight at all times until they are married at 19.

Oh yeah, i understand that. When I said “wrong direction” I meant according to my tastes. Honestly I like that From Soft is experimenting with their formula. Maybe the next experiment will be something more in my lane.

Same here. Just can’t get excited for it. I like slower paced, more in depth rpgs, and Nightreign is a move in the wrong direction for this title.

I’m a 6’4 dude and _I_ would rather be in the woods with a bear than with that guy.

Yeah that was a big red flag. “I was told I’d be working for free but I’m such a big-dicked patriot I smiled and did a fist pump.”

And yes I used the stickers instead of the water decals because I wanted to maintain at least a shred of sanity.

Now Nick Saban just needs to run against him, and we can all watch as Alabama descends into a civil war.

I am curious, at what point did you “know” that you were done with the right?
I was raised conservative, but didn’t really like Trump in ‘16. Leading up to 2020 I experienced my first pushback from friends & family for advocating for 2nd options
Then J6 was the moment I knew I was 100% done.

Been playing this lately and today I learned that the Japanese version has various improvements and features that aren’t in the US/PAL version

I think this is not so much ignorance as it is that telling the truth would get Noem in trouble with the big man. They are so desperate to stay in line with what he wants that they are will to look like utter idiots. Bc they know disloyalty is worse for them than incompetence.

Hey, it’s okay. I myself am “only” a step parent with no bio kids.
Do I sometimes feel like an imposter? Heck yeah.
But the important people in someone’s life aren’t always the people who gave birth to them.
The most important people in a child’s life are the ones who were there for them.

The funny thing is, while the administration will spin this as a win, the mutual lowering of tariffs was basically what china said was the only path forward from the very start.
So it’s almost like they caved to the Chinese demands…

I like my garden, and am looking forward to it this year, but I’ve not been able to turn a profit with it yet.
But now that the raised beds are established and I’m not having to buy soil, we’re getting close.

Another important occurrence on this day was in 1914, the Mexican Gov learned about the Titanic Disaster for the first time. This was especially devastating for the nation because, in addition to the loss of human life, the Titanic had been carrying 10,000 jars of mayonnaise bound for Mexico.

Nobody tells you how difficult it is to make friends once you get married, heck or even to keep up with your single friends.
I don’t think the blame is on marriage, I think it’s just single people have different priorities and lifestyles.

I’m really jealous of the quality of your encounters when walking.
The only event that happens on my walks is that the dog tries to poop on the funeral home lawn every single time we pass by.
