Trump started the birther issue with Obama that everyone knew was a lie. Instead of asking him for proof that Joe Biden did not sign Executive Orders or is a clone why doesn't the media simply say, "you are full of shit". They can add a "Sir", if it makes them feel better.

So I have collated a database with a lot of political economy information, which is very useful, and one important piece of information I include is visa policy and open border policies, since it is a very interesting part of political economy. Andorra is the weirdest country in this dataset.

A gift to Russia. kyivindependent.com/eu-tariffs-o...

The bathroom nazi needs to read the 14th Amendments of the Constitution. For ALL persons!!!!!!

Ukraine is being targeted with ballistic missiles right now. Reports of explosions and falling debris. People are going to call this a response to the airfield attacks on Sunday but that implies that russia would stop attacking if Ukraine stopped defending itself. Which is obvious pure nonsense.

Trump v Musk is getting wild 😆 Yeah — End Fossil Fuel Subsidies!!

Maybe a better predictor than even the yield curve. Bad #economic news. www.npr.org/2025/06/03/n...

So, I just got a new job and filled out my I-9 form. Super easy, passport, done. I looked at the list because I'm a political science nerd, and I noticed that #Palau is missing from List A documents. www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/...

It's become a bit of a meme... "Scandinavia has a giant government because you pay so much in tax" and all of that... and I suppose that is true if you are making the equivalent of a million USD. Let's look into the reality using this tax calculator: dk.talent.com/en/tax-calcu...

Good article, well worth the read. Captures perfectly how much has changed ("Wombles for Europe") and yet how the UK is back to the same arguments as in the 60s and 70s about identity and sovereignty. www.newstatesman.com/ideas/2025/0...

You'd think that UN concluding that member of its own permanent security council committing crimes against humanity would be bigger news.

People who claim everything would be more efficient if the government privatized everything have probably never worked for a large company. In my experience it means waiting days for almost everything with no real way to make things happen faster, at every private sector technical job I’ve had.

Just 35% of Americans approved of what Musk was doing in the government, according to a poll from April. 57% disapproved, with 46% *strongly* disapproving. If Dems are serious about only supporting ideas that are popular, they would never entertain the idea of allying with a guy who was so hated.

100 years from now people will still remember Harriet Tubman and Harvey Milk, no one will remember pete hegseth.

I want to talk about those bridge collapses in Russia for a bit. I’m going to have to give a little speculation warning knowing that we don’t have evidence and likely never will. But there’s a REASON why I want to talk about this and an impact that may be tangible.

CALLED IT

The great battle for Europe is underway. The USA,China&Russia are all interested in Europe. But they are not interested in a united, strong Europe. They want a decentralized, deindustrialized, and weakened Europe. That way, it becomes easier to wage economic wars with individual European countries⤵️

If Trump were really a master negotiator he would have used this call to pressure Putin to end the war. Seems he's more content as a Kremlin SPOX, announcing Russian attacks on Ukraine, and making weak small talk with his dictator bud.

In a sane country the President embezzling funds to throw himself a birthday military parade would immediately lead to impeachment. #ImpeachTrump

OK, these are the obvious next targets for Ukraine to bomb. Then the utter obliteration of the supply lines Russia uses for their front line. kyivindependent.com/exclusive-uk...

Funny how that works... as soon as Ukraine is clearly winning the war and Russia has no negotiating position Russia no longer wants a peace talk. Also the way that when Ukraine strikes military targets Putin goes on about casualties. What an asshole. kyivindependent.com/putin-casts-...

For Reals

ROFLCOPTER. They are literally admitting they cannot win a free and fair election.

The GOP pitches unpopular platforms, but wins elections because they stoke fear and anger in their base while Dems try to 'reach across the aisle'. An angry customer is more likely to leave a review on Yelp than a happy customer. It is the only play they got, but it is also quite effective
