I am weeks--WEEKS!--away from finally having my craft room exactly as I want it, complete with a sewing and serging station, and this happens???

This is my grandfather's copy of Eisenhower's Order of the Day. Even today with knowledge of history and hindsight, it sounds like a suicide mission. He and my other grandfather went in a few days after the initial invasion, but they were certainly in the action. That both came home was a miracle.

Twitter: this is how men with huge balls fight. This is what masculinity looks like Bluesky: this is the first messy breakup of pride month

I have determined the sole purpose of LinkedIn is to give salespeople a point of contact to cold call. Ever since I updated my profile to reflect my job in September, a good 60 percent of phone calls I get are sales calls.

I keep thinking about this. I make a point to get to know the environment I'm in fairly quickly. And I do look at maps, but rarely do I rely on GPS unless it's for a very specific location that I have no prior knowledge of AND I have no real intent of going back.

I have a son. One day he will discover porn. And when we all deal with it, I hope to handle it as well as these parents.

A story I tell with permission. When my son was a teenager, we had an open dialog about porn. He was going to find it, so our rule was yes, understanding consent and respect, but on a specific device and no downloading on it as a virus had infected one of his PCs from previous porno adventures.
