Sure feels like both.

I believe Gov Kehoe does want to help North St. Louis.
I also believe a lot of the folks under him in Jeff City will only do so if dragged kicking and screaming.

While no one likes the idea of school closings, the district needs to invest their tax dollars to support children and families, not buildings.

And she is. Which is a far cry from what we'd be getting from Jones, Krewson, or Slay.
Jones's street director would be just now finding out there was a fucking storm.

With each of the previous admins the rule was to never admit a mistake and fight tooth and nail against accepting responsibility.
I wasn't even particularly supportive of Spencer before, but her willingness to tackle this has been refreshing and impressive.

To say her administration fucked it up is honestly bullshit.
Poor procedures put in by a previous admin, actions not taken by people hired by a previous admin.
And to be honest with each of the last three admins, we'd still be arguing over whether or not the sirens went off.

Both were photo ops dummy.
That one of the was a man doesn't make it different.

That all makes sense.
At this point I question whether Diego and Lutz's visions align and if we are just seeing that battle play out until one or both are shown the door.

Doesn't that seem to be what is happening regardless?

Sounds like not so much a source as someone seeing what we all see.

It's also entirely possible it varies from team to team depending on what they make available to away clubs

To me the when is more a curiosity than anything.
Already a lost season despite what Apple TV crews want to say about us only being 6pt back of a playoff spot.
This next transfer window is almost certain to not be as impactful as last summer's and there are less games after it this season.

I hear the sheriff's dept can help with that.

That may be. Even so, hard to see getting a like-for-like replacement for Lowen outside of a situation where the whole roster has been blown up.

Doubt there is any way that can be done within the roster construction rules.
Unless you are ready to sell off Burki or Teuchert.

A lot of the initial photos and news immediately after the storm focused on the Forest Park area, but make no mistake -- this storm walloped north city. At least 16 calls for collapsed buildings, all of them north of Delmar.

#AllForCity practices the day before a match are required to go on until a player injures themself.

Never said you shouldn't.
Just don't act helpless when it is your choice.
Own it.

You don't have to give control of ad placement to a third-party. You do because makes it easier to make $$$.
That's still a choice.
Don't act helpless.

Make you question if Diego and Lutz don't share a vision.
And Lutz's roster build doesn't sync with (what I believe to be) Diego's choice for coach.

Coastal Dems simply cannot appreciate just how toxic their brand has become in the middle of the country. People assume their leadership will fail them by default.
You can't message your way out of that with a short-term election season strategy.

🤷🏽♂️ still gotta pick the right guy from among those that are available.
Not feeling like they did.

This thoughts stems not just from the poor performance but from the intro press conference where, to my memory, it was Diego that really made the case that Melberg was the guy all their analytical work pointed to.
