Correlation vs causation. Reform is what happens when a minor party (without even a napkin scribble of a manifesto) gets endless media coverage. Green is what happens when competent politics gets no reasonable media coverage. LDs is what happens when you pull the ladder up on graduates.

You are never going to win an argument about who should it shouldn’t make the cut with me. I would push for UBI. Sadly nobody will vote for me as supreme leader.

When will he learn that good vibes aren’t a thing at to run a fucking government. Feeling superior isn’t enough. You need concrete and funded ideas. Fucking hell, what a prick.

You know well that the change has caused a huge uptick in pension credit applications. So money has been targetted to those that need it. I’m all for UBI but don’t pretend than every pensioner *needs* a few hundred quid. Entirely disingenuous and doesn’t help your cause.

3 from Herts - all reform councillors. The meeting times are planned well in advance - I suspect most weren’t expecting to make it!

From the party of cash saving we bring you: hugely expensive by-elections because our candidates are clueless.

Trouble is: central gov is already sending out funding specifically to fill the hole (punintentional) the tories created in road maintenance funding when they slashed the budget to a third of 2010 levels. Reform will get to spend that free money and claim credit for something they played no part in.

Agree. The man whose sole achievement is brexit should be held to account for what is, regardless of how anyone voted, an abject failure. It has made us poorer in every way and benefited only the uber wealthy.

Yes. The same people who promised that Brexit would fix everything are now telling you punishing poor migrants and trans people will fix everything. They’ve shown us who they are

They are libertarians pure and simple. Everything else is a means to an end, a way to convince an average voter to side with policies that will gain them nothing and lose them everything. See what is going on in USA. Amazed how many older voters are happy with reform despite their plans to scrap NHS

You had me at jimmy carr not being involved. Though that was admittedly the end of what you said.

I have thus far failed to find any reliable bus tracking in Welwyn/hatfield. Eg. Google tells you a bus is going to appear but it doesn’t - like it simulates live updates based on what the schedule would mean. Which isn’t helpful when you want an actual bus to show! Where do you get your data? Thx

If you are a beer based campaigning organisation that claim to care about inclusion you shouldn’t be touching Twitter on your “which ale house” website either…. Seems some orgs are rather slow to move

I find the pub and beer trade has been quite poor at ditching Twitter. Even the new whatpub replacement (“the website formerly known as whatpub”?) insists on listing Twitter links for venues with no Bluesky option.

@andrewlewinmp.bsky.social it would be great if you can attend this vital debate, climate change is the issue to beat all issues in my view and we aren’t going far or fast enough yet!

Bookmarks is so desperately needed, for me.
