I never believed in the gentry until I had a bit of an unexplained experience that can only be described as their playing style. Now I try to give them the respect they deserve.

I have definitely spent my fair share in all of those games.

I’ve always wanted to attempt cheese making. Is it as fun as it seems or is it hard to do?

I was going to judge you harshly and then my mouth watered at the thought of a nice shandy. Perhaps you are on to something.

If I were a confident author it would help me create amazing stories of people losing everything and finding community among the downtrodden. It feels very Steinbeck like to me.

Hahaha. I was talking to my cousin about this when I deconstructed my birth faith and became a pagan Druid. The similarities between that church and Celtic folk magics are too similar to be coincidental

I love the colors. What a beautiful space.

Isn’t America great? We have everything including debt slavery to medical institutions. We really are in a golden age.

I'm sorry you are going through this. It seems to be hitting everyone I know both IRL and in my fandom zones. I hope you all land on your feet. My DM is always open if you need a friendly ear or some politician bashing.

I wish I could say I have never done that, but I can’t. My last pre-print was unofficially titled “They burn what to make cement? That’s garbage!”

I’m with you on that. It is a beautiful book that sticks with you. Even if its beauty is a bit on the dark side.

That is a book that I constantly come back to. Such a masterpiece of literature. I find it especially intriguing as it was the basis of his persecution for “practicing perversion” as he was charged with. It is an amazing love story that is not a love story. I look forward to reading it again.

You know what, let them ban contrails. It would be funny if their conspiracy theories help develop the first alternative fuel aircraft for long distance trips. Accidentally save the planet by being completely wrong about what they are.

Gosh darn it now I have to go and rewatch battlestar all over again.
Completely agree on your choice though, her character was so well written and showed so much depth for a pretty simple space opera

My grandfather used to have a giant weeping willow in his yard. It was always one of my favorite trees to read under as the way the leaves and branches are shaped created a wondrous escape from the toils of youth for me.

This picture made me hear “well golly sarge?” In my mind in the greatest Gomer Pyle voice I have locked away. Best episode is still when Andy realizes what Pyle had done and tries to sneak into the base to get him out before it is too late. (The pilot)

He is one of my favourite political leaders of all time. I have never seen anyone as genuinely happy to be in public service as he appears to be.

I have loved watching this journey of yours and hope it gets picked up so I can read it. Fencing, especially early renaissance style fencing, is something that I’ve wanted to try for a while.

I completely agree. I have found it to be a great catalyst for understanding life.

Night owl. I’ve been known to stay up til 3 in the morning just to wake up at 5 with my daughter. Is it time scarcity? Or is it the desire for alone time?
