Today is my 40th and I'm feeling a little down that I haven't achieved anything I wanted. I think this is the last year I can seriously consider trying the whole gamedev thing. Any tips or encouragement greatly appreciated, and I'm going to do more to chronicle this last ditch journey!

I also like the idea of doing promo items for devs - stickers, shirts, mugs, mousemsts.. but using that platform to show off their characters, games and designs to other gamers.

I remember hearing someone say in a devlog, that there was no 'stuff' geared towards gamedevs.. like shirts, mugs that kind of thing I think? Is that something folk would be interested in? I have all the printing gear sat here since I stopped doing personalised prints.

Trying to use tween behaviour in Construct3.. for some reason no 'on tween finished' events are triggering 😐 It seems simple, am I doing something wrong?!

Soooo.. anyone have any hints on how Sea of Stars handles it's elevation, the way characters go behind tilemaps etc? I thought I'd figured out how to work something similar but I'm not actually sure.

I've just joined after having enough of 'the other place' and it's already looking like it could be a great place for networking and sharing with other game devs. I'm a hobbyist solo dev working on my dream project - a 2D top-down fishing adventure. Hoping to start sharing the journey.
