Where did you get a 3kg tub of mixed Haribo? That's an expensive pick and mix right there.

My dad used to use 'shreddies' in the 90s, he was from York. So I reckon it's definitely a northern thing?

Definitely, it was wonderful. Such an under appreciated game and I hope the new one lives up to the first - it hadn't really been on my radar as I was skeptical but now I'm interested.

Honestly I don't think the story gets the recognition it deserves.

Yes! Core memory unlocked. I don't know why but these became a major meme in amongst our friends group nearly 20 years ago now 😭

I always thought this about BotW. I love it, but there are clearly areas you're supposed to be much 'higher level' for but there's just no way to know until you get your arse kicked. I guess the visuals of the enemy are the signpost in the end. As for the shrines though that's definitely bad.

I've been trying that for 15 years 😂 Never quite managed it. I can't keep it simple haha. Just started something today though that I hope manages that.

That's generally how I've worked and pretty much the only thing that's kept me doing it at times. But I still want to succeed in publishing something!

Understand the fear. Better than staff at the school I worked at though, they were propositioning the pupils..

There's absolutely no 'recovery' time at all and I've forgotten what gamedev even is :/

Feeling this. I'm visually impaired and work full time in digital marketing. I don't think my colleagues understand the till that looking at a screen all day takes on me, and I'm run ragged with kids and looking after the house the rest of the time while my wife is on placement..

I don't remember this either as I got my copy given away with some magazine about 2000! It was one of the first steps to gamedev for me after modding GTA and Worms 2.

Yeah, my mum didn't even bother to take me to the dentist. She had dentures and there were times we didn't even have toothpaste in. Now it's me that faces the consequences.

We appreciate it. I love that if I'm unsure on how something works then a glance at the manual clears it up 99% of the time.

Every second of that game is joy. As a 90s kid the nostalgia is therapeutic too.

It's looking fantastic!

Their burgers and curries are all fantastic too. Owner Roy is a top guy and delivered meals to school kids during lockdown.

It was a very silly mistake - I forgot I was calling the tween via a function in a new event sheet that wasn't included in my main one.. so the function works but not the other events 😂 Oops

Great job, you always used to put great content out on Twitter too.

When I was a student I guarantee my keyboard was more pastry than anything else.

This is a wonderful point, and yet so many people aren't aware of all this wonderful music being created.

I love pixel art but it's not the style I want to go for now, sadly I haven't done any pixel work for a few years now.
comment in response to post
Sadly not yet, but hopefully soon! I only have screenshots from an earlier prototype of it.. since ditched the pixel art though.

Felled a few years back, I think they were going to craft something from it, though I'm not sure what came of it!

But what about gnomes? What's your stance on gnomes?

It looks gorgeous!
