I'm glad the SMH and The Age are running this story. Finally

Let's start calling this out. The Israeli military is being antisemitic by killing Palestinians who speak a semitic language and have a semitic based culture and heritage. Use should use anti-Jewish or anti-Hebrew if that is what he means

A hugely important story on how the most powerful office holder on the planet is using non fungible tokens on a massive scale as a conduit enrich himself and his family. But the real problem is that he can use his power to corrupt and coerce governments and corporations into paying him anonymously

Yes indeed

Yep… war involves at least two standing armies and fighting each other and all sides have casualties. This is large scale random executions in a huge open air prison

That doesn’t seem enough considering tourists run the risk of being taken aside and forced to unlock their phones and having them scraped for sensitive and compromising or incriminating info at the border

Surely the tourism industry in US America is beginning to tank

An audit of the federal treasury and Fort Knox wouldn’t go amiss either

Yes but Trump is using the same tactic to sideline his own domestic issues. Textbook fascism!!!

Yes why? He’s a disgraced grub. Why is the ABC helping Pezzullo reboot his career?

Well whatever happens you have to stay engaged and to put ALP above LNP… and not voting or voting informally is not the answer either… as seen in recent US presidential election.

The ALP are being Whitlamed, continuously, maybe not overtly but they aren't winning if they cannot stand for something and change the narrative in even in small ways. Continuously giving in just weakens the party morale and legitimacy. They look craven and insincere - and nobody respects that.

It’s deliberate. Based on the principle that 90% of their “readership” will only read the headline and most who read the article won’t know or care. The Australian doesn’t care about editorial standards or the truth. It’s a sad shitty fucked up excuse for a paper

Nice to remember when space exploration had a scientific purpose and was about more than just narcissistic billionaires pumping themselves up. And appreciate the wonderful engineering, planning and thoughtfulness that made it happen using the relatively primitive technology of the day

Agreed. Totally aggressively defensive and emotive but Sarah Ferguson would have done a much better job. Speers is a a lightweight amateur

And Speers had no control of the interview. She just went on and on band on

I think this was the inevitable outcome of having a biased media that didn’t criticise the LNP or hold them to account while attacking and catastrophising everything the ALP did or said. The coalition got lazy and more extreme.

our main stream media is now a big part of the problem because it instinctively normalises everything that is wrong

For many years now I have followed Auschwitz Memorial on Twitter and Bluesky and dutifully read and reflected on these posts and frequently reposted them. But having seen the sickening atrocities committed in Palestine against children I am unfollowing this site. With respect and sadness...

What about SBS in the 9:00 Sunday morning spot running head to head against the other sad show. It would be brilliant

Great show.. Is there any chance that we could get one of our public broadcasters to pick #SundayShot up so it’s on real telly or has well informed and well moderated public affairs been consigned to streaming on the net?
