You remain willing to see good in people even with all that's going on, and that's rare. Picture of my husky, Baldur, keeping me company while I ran D&D last night.

Though it did have a strong environmental and anti-corporate message that resonated with people. Ten was arguably a love story at its core, more found family, and moving on from mistakes of the past. 14 is the big MMO, & so it has a following for being the big MMO, and having remarkably good story.

My favorite is 6, and it has a grand story that includes found family, loss and redemption, and train suplexing. 7 is probably the most popular, with several games set in its universe (Though only the 'main' game is represented in the MTG set) and that's largely its characters carrying the weight.

Oh, sure. So the series has several universes, all of the main line games are disconnected from each of the others. The 'big' universes (in this case, the ones from the commander decks, so 6, 7, 10, and 14) all have a lot of really classic storytelling and memorable characters/moments from them.

Mileva! I know she kinda got one in MaKM but I'm hoping for a proper Mileva card that I can run as the commander of a deck! She's one of my favorite characters from Ravnica, getting her story told over several cards, and she's Boros, one of my preferred color pairs.

Absolutely. They understood the assignment, and have on every one of these. As a Final Fantasy Fan, I knew this was going to hit me dead on, but dang. I'm deeply impressed by it.

Games have needed the price hike for a while, the prices haven't been keeping up with inflation. I'd rather pay $80 and have decently treated devs than $60 and the current mess.
Not that a price hike guarantees improvement, but I can hope.

I'll never understand why people engage with content they dislike instead of moving on.

"Destiny, Chance, Fate, Fortune - All Just Ways of Claiming Your Successes without Claiming your Failures" - Hero's Resolve from...Stronghold, I think. Rath block, at least. I used to have this quote up on my cubicle wall.

There were also potential mitigating factors that were left out of the trial, IE: Abuse and such.
