I am confused about the meaning of "positive difference"? The point is Musk interfered in a foreign election just as Russia does, did that mean fewer or more votes for AfD? Regardless, 20.5% is still scary many votes. Go Merz, make Europe strong without the US!

You are so right about the Europeans having to step up and show they can help Ukraine win without the US. Unfortunately there is also a lot of division in Europe, it's like the Republicans in congress, are we sure we dare to show we disagree with Trump?

Remember though that Denmark absolutely needs the US and NATO to help secure Greenland now and in the future. Ironically the US already has all the access it wants.

What's broken is a political system that allows the super rich to control everything. If I had one wish, it would be to remove money from politics, then the system would cure itself, and we would have universal healthcare for starters. This is of course utopia, but it's not because of capitalism.

Best sci-fi books ever. Read all three a year ago. First half of 3BP is slow and hard to get through, but after that it's impossible to let go. Dark Forest and Death's End are even more exciting. I definitely had a book hangover after finishing.

Trump and Musk are destabilizing Europe so it will be easier for Putin to take. Defeating Russia in Ukraine is not part of the plan, quite the contrary.
