A disabled mother of nine, and the DWP took away her benefits? FFS, doesn't anyone think about the person, and not the cash?

Chemistry is expensive and student numbers are lower. The same will happen with engineering, except at the moment, student numbers are holding up. All universities are struggling, having overseas students as a financial bonus for a long time. Government attitude to immigration has stopped that

That's not acceptable, reeking strongly of "bat it back" attitude.

I've started reading the SDR, and will make some comments, but I thank you highlighting the point. Militarism and militarisation are different but same cheeks of the fascist arse.

That's terrible and not what we voted for.

Okay. I'll give it some thought.

Defence against aggression is a good investment. Russia is the malign influence, not the Labour Party

Your assertion that the EU is better off without the UK is based on what? Genuinely interested, cheers

The contribution was far more, the net contribution was circa 7.5bn in 2017, the second largest. I think that the UK in the EU makes sense, and fortifies the political and social cohesion, although some disagree. Cheers Kensington. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-poli...

Clueless rosbif? Lost any credibility right there.

the Tories are done. Starmer is right to attack Faraj, and about time too. The constant media attention needs to be turned around from Farage and back to things that matter, like equality and society

Midlands sounds so "meh". Same with West Midlands. Warwickshire has a stronger identity, same for Leicestershire or Derbyshire. Perhaps local regiments, cricket, university and dialects help? Staffordshire is very split, Stoke v different to South staff for example.

Isn't the Golden Hind moored nearby too? Let 'em slug it out

David Bowie didn't, and that's why he sounded so different

The article says that the government are prioritising schools and colleges over university. We may see some universities change to more apprenticeships since the demand is higher?

The first semi derelict factory in shot is the old Dunlop works on Evington Valley Road. 1,200 people used to work there in the eighties.

Parking Twat. It should be part of the Driving Test - how to mount a kerb, doing maximum damage to the infrastructure and your car. Sponsored by Michelin.

are they going to replace the thousands of jobs in Renewable Energy with new coal-mines? That's not a vote winner, surely.

And left many English with little regard for the union. The destruction of which they would largely welcome. I note the map shows English areas areas with diverse population describe themselves as British.
