Had three gardening jobs booked in for today, cancelled them all, not just the heat but even cutting grass when it’s this hot doesn’t do lawns any good. Went to a nice cafe instead 😂

Used to get the same in my old job, when not saving cats from trees 😉 we spent the time fitting smoke alarms and giving safety advice etc and always remember an old guy telling me he hadn’t seen anyone for three weeks other than the delivery driver with his Asda shop 😔

The farewell ceremony all seemed a bit last minute, presumably McCartney has a diary booked up well in advance so unless they have him 12 months notice it was always unlikely to happen. The planning most likely started once the team was safe from relegation 😉

Yep, there should be more transparency and I don’t believe that no female supporters put themselves forward. The fact that the shortlist is picked by just six people but the process is overseen by the Clubs Head of Legal doesn’t sit right with me.

As Nigel Owens said about VAR in Rugby Union, go with your first instinct and don’t rely on technology. It should not be used for interpretations of the rules just for clear errors. Meanwhile in the PL they seem to make it up as they go along

Train into town, walk to the ground attempting to support local businesses along the way, return journey pretty similar although we did make use of the Voi bikes at the second test event to get us back to the Denbigh 😂
