The good news is: it keeps happening because it keeps being ineffective lol It’s a definitionally losing battle to try and curtail human sexuality. The same is true for prudes on the left and right.

“Anti-sex but make it woke”, and it’s weirdly very often during Pride that it comes up too.

This dragon rears its ugly head every decade or so. It’s the same conversation that was had during the Clinton admin too. And the anti-porn wave during Reagan. Young, well-intentioned people who have yet to parse the crap still left in their worldview from their upbringing inevitably land on

Well, I do, but it’s pretty cynical. It’s just a really bad time to be in that situation tbh.

Shot it myself in my old attic! It was a whole evening of working with my friend and model. What you can’t see is that their face is covered in glitter during this shot (we used other shots that featured their face for promo stuff lol)

Moreso specifically because people on the right only need one step: opening their mind to the idea that people are different and it’s fine.
Folks on the left must unlearn a whole well-intentioned but half-baked ideology and replace it with a dynamic and vastly intersectional worldview

“Women in the public eye have a moral responsibility not to be bottoms” is a real take that people who seem otherwise relatively normal have espoused today. Anyway listen to my EP here or wherever you listen to music

The most annoying part of knowing that foreign countries are interfering in American discourse is the knowledge that it only works because we have the stupidest, most morally absent people on the planet such that they fall for it every time lol

understand art on a fundamental level (which isn’t even me calling Carpenter some great artist! I think she’s technically superb with a pretty middling base of creativity. One just need not be on the cutting edge of art to understand what’s being done here.)

I’m straight up convinced this is a psyop that people are talking about it at all. This is the most milquetoast, completely on-the-rails content from her, the lady who is perhaps most famous for the “Juno” poses. Anyone in a tiff about it is performing in one direction or another, and also doesn’t

Apparently the film rights for it got picked up by Bad Robot too, so that’s probably gonna be dope.

somewhere in there, probably stupidly.
I do also like a grim comedy like Douglas Addams or Vonnegut.
I don’t like anything branded as a “retelling” of anything else, and I tend to prefer something that feels like a definitive version of itself (for instance, I love Anne Rice’s vampire novels,

series on waitlist because my husband and bff both love them, but I didn’t especially care for the high fantasy of Wells’ Witch King.
Basically my ideal book is one where a girl has a superpower, fights a government, is accompanied by a tight cast of characters, and preferably falls in love

get through a Rothfuss novel and those Maas books look awful. I also love something pretentious and decadent like Gourmet Rhapsody or The Picture of Dorian Gray, and with sci-fi I prefer it to be an element rather than the core premise (ex: Hunger Games vs iRobot) though I do have the Murderbot

I am such a picky bitch, and I acknowledge that. I love dystopian YA like Hunger Games and Divergent, but I don’t like Maze Runner or Legend. I like whimsical fantasy like Wrinkle In Time and His Dark Materials, but I don’t like Percy Jackson or Eragon. I like blockbuster fantasy like GoT but cant

Yeah it’s not, best I can tell. It’s an SSRI, and it’s not like it never gets abused but it’s not exactly a great choice if one is looking for an immediate high.
