Diplomacy has never been lower.

They'll just carry on their day jobs, collect the councillors pay, attend one meeting once a month maybe, do no casework and not stand for election again while their constituents get zero responses

I was there yesterday and saw you win ( I was with the Goring Lib Dems). Keep up the good work Emily, cycling is safer because of people like you!

We seem to have got off lightly. This is a massive gamble for the US.

Wallingford bypass is horrible and designed solely for cars.

I wouldn’t mind all this talk of cycleways etc if only @oxfordshirecc.bsky.social Highway’s didn’t promote car culture. Most of the roads are designed for fast speeds, with often no footway or cycleway whatsoever.

The cycle stands are even more useless.

I don’t agree, people from places like Abingdon and Wantage go to Didcot for its shops.

Why not put a park & ride in at Milton Park to reduce congestion into Didcot,or reopen Steventon railway station for the same benefit?

The Republicans don’t get Europe, and they don’t care about Europe either.

Imagine if the Didcot Parkway to Oxford line was electrified and direct services were reinstated from the Thames Valley, even more footfall. (Frustrated of Goring)
comment in response to post
I understand that, maybe easier to get Didcot to Oxford electrified so we can direct trains from Goring to Oxford?
comment in response to post
Any chance this line will be electrified, diesel seems a bit old-school?

That is some list…

Unfortunately he said out loud what a whole bunch of SUV driving car gammon think. We need to change the narrative that cycling is a) not for losers who can’t afford a car and b) that cycling isn’t an exclusive middle class pastime. More emphasis on the health benefits and time saving gains of bikes

No dropped kerb either ✅

Here is the solution: open a new railway station along the main line west of Didcot.

We need more top and fewer bottom.

Have you ever heard of ’Induced Demand’? We need less cars not more.

What a shame Aylesbury to East/West Rail have been shelved. Journeys like Wycombe to MK would have been possible.

Have you got any photos of Bath Road Halt, a former railway station nearby please?
