🤣 Hydronx is the favourite amongst the team atm. There's no way he's getting neglected

Don't you worry! He gets all the pets!

We all do. He's so friend shaped

(From our newbie to sculpting) For me, it’s more about getting good concept art and using references for details. “There’s beauty in simplicity” is very applicable when it comes to low poly sculpting. Starting out with a cube and it into many, and to a creature-like blob is all “trust the process”

(From the artist) I've been modeling characters for over 10y. So I have a lot of experience. I'm new to animals, but with zbrush it's a breeze if you understand general anatomy, and trans from 2D to 3D. You want to use a lot of refs, especially if you're starting out. But will always need a couple.

I know when I've lost And I've been mercilessly defeated

Might be a little outta left feel, but if you feel like playing a more cozy rogue-like game, I highly recommend Dave the Diver. Its super entertaining, though not as challenging as hard-core rogue-likes

Ooooh! I like that one. I'm gonna steal it 😈

I can promise we have like 2 braincells shared amongst us. And only 1 person is keeping track of where they are

Starting to wonder if we should change the genre to "fun fantasy" at this point.

Game dev is /hard/. Whoever says otherwise knows nothing about developing semi-decent games Especially when trying to advertise your games to an already saturated market

Feels like critical thinking has become a lost art. Where's the good ole "I don't like this, so it obviously wasn't made for me. I'll leave it and look for something else I do like. No need to feel personally offended."?

Every attempt is a learning opportunity. Theres a glass blowing tiktoker who often says "Well this isn't going the way I want it. I'll have to start again. But I'm going to finish this and learn what I can from it"

That I'd gorgeous. She looks so cool and dangerous, but in such a subtle way. I love it!😍

Nothing stopping you from rolling them for online games! I've never player irl, but still have a super pretty set I use. 😁

Hi, We're available for adoption! 😊 We're all housebroken (mostly) and the shared braincells are carefully managed.

Really depends. But I do have a fondness for button mashing friends to death 😈

100% agree The sheer dedication to crafting them? Equal to an artist making their art.

Only thing worse was when my little sister deleted my nintendogs. Including my first ever pup, who I had lovingly trained to win all the competitions. I still miss you, Rosie 😢 Nearly 20 years ago, and yet, I still hold that grudge. And I will for all eternity!

An animal you can pet. That's it.

The best games are the ones that make you feel like you've earned the win, without making you rage quit. Its a fine balance, and really hard to achieve. So the ones that do are even more impressive

Small towns do be like that. The urge just to gossip is too damn hard to ignore. But of course you need to build a rapport. Can't just be an out of towner and expect all the dirty secrets.

How is time working like this now? This was the longest and shortest month I've ever experienced

Gamers want to game after all. Not watch a semu-immersive movie that has minimal interaction.

The brain doesn't want to learn new stuff after a long day of work, but still wants to game 😭
