My grandfather and great uncles were among this group, 1st gen Americans during WWII. Great grandparents wanted to take them back to Mexico to avoid the draft, but they all chose to stay and served as infantrymen in Europe.

I even got my wife to listen to this episode after we watched the movie last weekend.

The best one by far.

When even the death of your child is not enough to wake you up and shake free from this madness. Incredibly sad for the little girl who lost her life from this neglect and the more death and misery to come for children of parents like this.

I'm here for this! I just happened to watch Raiders and Temple of Doom, long version with commercials, on tv last night.

To stop his soldiers from killing the SS camp guards, Brigadier General Truman Boudinot, quickly ordered them to cease fire and shouted while pointing at the SS guards, "These are German prisoners of war and we will treat them as such...WE ARE NOT LIKE THEM!"

Despite his age Jerry's still got it. Wonderful listening to him on the call last night.

Demar keeps shooting us into a deficit, especially with him not getting any foul calls. The Domas and Lavine aggression from the last two games was missing in the first half.

Ha, we just watched this on a lazy Sunday a few weeks ago.

I have no more words. Utter disappointment.

Fort Union was one of the highlights of a road trip to Colorado I took with my kids almost three years ago. Saw a sign driving up I-25 and on a whim stopped to check it out. We all loved it. Even a rolling thunderstorm that poured on us didn't ruin the visit.

Fantastic episode Jason! I needed to hear some of that.

They were holding strong despite Giannis' big game, but kept letting the Bucks destroy them when he was on the bench.

You gotta take advantage when they get to see the light of the day!

I believe these folks are showing the country that you can't shame people who are shameless.

Yup. I told my wife yesterday his little speech about not supporting the CR was BS and he would end up supporting it. Less than 24 hours later he proved me right.

Yup, even through this game turned out to be a stinker, both were well prepared to talk knowledgeably about damn near everyone on both rosters.

That game plan was a horrible idea. The Kings lost the game in the first six minutes of the first quarter. Never had a chance after that.

They don't run plays to get 3-point shooters open. This problem is exasperated with Fox gone. Malik is the only one that can penetrate defenses. Zach can get to the rim but is getting to the basket to score, not pass, which he is excellent at.

Concentration camp is the correct term, look it up in a dictionary. The Nazis turned their concentration camps into death camps later.

Agreed. I mean we got Lincoln's vampire fighting story brought to the big screen, it's time for GW.

That sounds reasonable.

Teams are allowed to beat the crap out of Sabonis but he gets called for offensive fouls all the time for basic screens or jumping for rebounds.
comment in response to post
It's a shame that some teams are allowed to play physical defense and others (i.e. Kings) get so many offensive fouls called just by setting screens or jumping for a rebound.

Like clockwork. As soon as the bench starts rotating in any lead dissappears almost immediately.

Aye. I can see the Front Office not being able to get a single thing done by the deadline and Vivek just firing Monty and Wes before the All-Star Break.

Freaking out about 54 points against Utah.

What lineups have been most effective for lessing the impact of the Kings' weak bench? i.e. which starters have worked best with the bench so far? The Kings start losing leads or fall further behind once the starting five begin subbing out.

The Lakers are defensive juggernauts who almost never foul anyone...ever.
comment in response to post
Yeah, its such trash. Refs allowing the Lakers to play physical while Kings getting called for any and every weak contact.

My extended family are Colorado natives that still live in Pueblo and Denver. My grandparents moved away in the 1950s. Every time I visit I'm always introduced as "the California cousin." That almost always elicits a "Oh, I'm sorry." So if that's what you would say, then yes, you are a Colorado man.
