I'm really enjoying The Alters for the most part, however the game design around recovering from dead-end states in the game can be quite frustrating.

AI-generated code is buggy, unsafe, and inefficient. Fixing those problems cancels out all the productivity benefits of using AI tools, so devs hate them. But what if there was a methodology where those weren't (your) problems? Turns out there is. I've updated eXtreme Go Horse for the AI era.

It seems like not enough people are playing Bionic Bay. It rules. A mix between Limbo and Speedrunners. Tight platforming, absolutely gorgeous pixel art, and crazier physics puzzles and abilities. It's cheap and runs perfect on Steam Deck.

So happy to see Austin Walker (waypoint, giant bomb) has a new podcast discussing games regularly, AND that it's exactly as good as you'd expect. www.clockworkworlds.com/side-story-m...

The Zen Browser project has been making a surprising amount of progress recently (certainly more than Arc has, ugh). There are still a few core features missing (picture in picture for videos, "little zen", and crucially auto-closing tabs) but it's worth checking out again.

The simultaneous success of Sinners and Minecraft sends a clear message to Hollywood: audiences want movies to either be good or shit

Listening to Kae Tempest on repeat today. youtu.be/aTDOFaAcEyc?...

Good morning to everyone except George Vernon Hudson. Good afternoon to that motherfucker.

Increasingly feeling like a lot of tech products aren't 'for me' right now. Holding onto a phone (Pixel) and laptop (Yoga) I don't really love, because there's nothing that feels significant enough to warrant an upgrade. Always feels like if I wait for the next version, it might be the right recipe.

Parts of the new Sleep Token song sound like Bo Burnham's "All eyes on me" and you can't convince me otherwise.

wow just logged off and there are problems there too

y'all ever see a take so bad you are forced to immediately go to sleep?

Something must be in the water in France, because they keep producing some of the most interesting metal bands on the planet. If you ever wanted a cross between Igorrr, The Algorithm and Om Mani, check out Mirar. mirar.bandcamp.com/track/pr-sage
