Maraschinos - an abandoned tree that stuck two fingers up and fruited anyway. Tart, but gorgeous.

I know... that's why I use it sparingly. But it takes a split second to properly answer a question I could take ages finding on Google, so I wonder if that balances it out in any way?

..Also... you don't have to spend ages unticking all the marketing preference options...

At last... A fast connection between these two cities will transform the NW economy. It should take 10 minutes, not 40...

I asked this question at the very start. Who wins? Elon, because he has the money and the intel, or Trump because he's President - his voters have already priced in Epstein etc. and he all but owns SCOTUS.

I've written a novel which has never been published. (Frankly I don't think it's good enough - I wrote it for personal reasons). Quite tempted to ask ChatGPT to read it and review it, just to see....

Yep... ask it for references. Ask it to critique its own writing. Ask it anything about its own performance. Ask it why it chose the particular style/structure it selected for this piece. My guess is that answers will be staggeringly perceptive...

No... I can't/mustn't/shouldn't.. Oh, go on then :-)

And our neighbour's heat pump is much quieter than the roar from the old oil boiler they took out....

Fundamentally, no, for me. The subscription model on a blog by blog basis isn't scalable, for a start.

Because electricity prices are tied to the highest at any one time, which is almost always gas. That brings up the average. Or something like that...
comment in response to post
It is. But the prices are tied together so that electricity prices are pegged to the highest, which is almost always gas now. Maddening...

It's on our way to us tonight. I'm like a kid on Christmas Eve.

Yes, that is literally his sole motivation for most pronouncements. That, or revenge for perceived slights.

I think you mean 'Need one'.

I'm also interested in the extent to which rooftop solar reduces overall demand in sunny weather. Not sure how this is reflected in the figures, if at all.
comment in response to post
I understand there is a degree of extrapolation with the solar figures because much of it is locally generated and consumed. Will be interested to hear what you find out.

It is more expensive than most other peat-free composts - but that's because it's well made, good stuff! And when you factor in the success rate, it's well worth it :-)

We grow all the plants @bluebellcottage.bsky.social in Melcourt peat-free :-)

Indeed - we're working on adding full plant and seasonal pictures to all our plants. Takes a while, but I agree it's important... For example - the seed pods are arguably this plant's best feature. www.bluebellcottage.co.uk/plant/LUN120...
