No, it means that after our legislative session ends on Friday, the Governor will likely call lawmakers to come back to Jefferson City and work to authorize funding for a new stadium. If they don’t come up with the funding, the teams may move to other states.

Now Sen Rick Brattin is sharing scripture. He’ll tell you he cares deeply about life, but through his years in the House and Senate, he’s made it abundantly clear he ONLY cares about a fetus. He’ll never protect kids from gun violence, fund healthcare, feed poor children, fund education…

State Senator Mike Bernskoetter admitted it with his vote for SB 22. State Representative Dave Griffith admitted it, too. With the passage of SB 22, Mike Kehoe, Mike Bernskoetter, and Dave Griffith have openly humiliated themselves and their party for all the state to see.

…deceptive ballot language that has had to be made right by the courts. Can you even count the number of times you’ve seen “Should the Missouri Constitution be amended to allow only citizens of the United States to vote?” It is already the case — and has been the case — that only citizens can vote!

…empowered to write — and rewrite — and rewrite, again if challenged — misleading ballot summaries with no real oversight, robbing citizens of valuable signature collection time. Our Republican Secretaries of State have routinely tried to keep our citizen initiatives from passing by writing…

…reform legislators’ ethics…so many things we Missourians wanted and deserved but the Republican-led legislature refused to provide. They even later reversed some of the laws we worked so hard to pass. SB 22 takes power away from voters and gives it to partisan politicians who will be newly…

Missouri Senate Bill 22 is a dangerous and bad faith power grab that attacks Missouri’s citizen initiative petition process, the process that we voters have used to expand Medicaid, raise the minimum wage, require employers to provide paid sick leave, legalize medical marijuana, end puppy mills,…
