I was just complaining about this this very thing earlier. This ain’t Twitter, you’re not going to suffer just because you sourced something. Put the links in the post!

Lu Dort flopped at least twice in this game — not basketball flops but soccer flops, if that makes sense. If you’re going to soend the time to review those calls, why not call a technical on the flopper?

Really important story - army officials asked soldiers to identify themselves if they don't agree with Trump's politics that way he'd get only supportive soldiers in uniform during his political rally on base. Heavier soldiers were also barred from participating.

"Each murder, rape and kidnapping on or since Oct. 7 was a terrorist act, but it was also a crime." www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/202...

This is what every great catch makes you say but I really feel like this is maybe the best catch of this kind that I've ever seen.

I love that kanopy's most watched list looks like this. Library services and their patrons are neat.

Indiana has come back from down 15 or more FIVE times, the most such comebacks in a single postseason in the play-by-play era (since 1997). Pacers are 5-3 when they go down by 15 or more this playoffs.

Tyrese Haliburton is 6-for-7 (85.7%) when taking a shot to tie or take the lead in the final 90 seconds of the 4th or OT this playoffs. That’s the most such shots in a single postseason since 1997.

Got a frantic phone calls from my folks this morning. They sounded so relieved to hear my voice. My parents thought I was dead/kidnapped. Turns out they got a call from a farmer who... found my cellphone in the middle of his field? But I have my phone. And he wants to return it. Scam right? Well, 🧵

In the old days we would tell outside writers at oped, “Not even Times reporters see their headlines before they’re in print,” to ward off people who wanted to write their own headlines. Things have changed. Not better or worse, just change.

25 years ago I moved to DC for a new job and spent more than a few weekday evenings in my Adams Morgan studio watching Kenny and Charles and Ernie — “Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday!” — on TNT. I’ll miss you guys. The best studio show ever made, across sports and news.

These are both great acts of kindness. One of many things people from less-dense areas don’t understand about NYC is that they’re ignoring you to be nice.

I'm one of a big bunch of journalists who got laid off from Business Insider today. This sucks! Which is to say, I wish the profession I've spent my life chasing wasn't in such chaos. BI does great work, and I hope you'll support the folks still making that happen.
