I have a list. Don’t make me add to it. Love Granny Weatherwax, Vimes, Smiley, and Poirot in that order. Hoping to spend less time blocking fascists over here.

If sexual abuse was only a product of the testicles, this might work, but it isn’t, so it won’t. This has been argued periodically for decades.

The Church of England as an institution is riddled with hypocrisy and corruption - and downright malevolence. There are a few genuine Xtians, but most aren’t. At least of all those I’ve had dealings with or met.

What they call it is ‘negative freedom’.

As far back as I can remember, as soon as a bldg project is announced there’s a lot of outrage over frogs or something. Ofc, protect the environment but nimbyism isn’t the way.

I don’t know, but I suspect that NF’s nonsense is wearing a bit thin and last year’s riots damaged his image, because he held strong views against those riots. Better late than never doesn’t really do it since the damage has been done.

A staunch leave voter, who had said he’d vote leave again, last week admitted they’d been lied to and agreed we needed to rejoin. So it can happen, perhaps not often enough but it was Farage who woke him up.

Lying or pretending about need is itself a need. Isn’t it? There is headroom for it anyway.

I’d strongly support an aged mobility scheme (that wasn’t a zimmer).

It is easier to hate than to love. I don’t mean this cheesily, but the simplest solutions require the least effort, no real thinking necessary. Too many immigrants? Send ‘em all back. Violence in Northern Ireland? Leave ‘em to it. Enoch Powell? Nigel Farage.

And there you go: a disappointed Leave voter. You’ve had your day. Hatred is exhausting and Trump has killed the far right - you have nowhere left to go other than to examine your own emptiness.

No, I don’t. Calm down.

It’s those who didn’t vote, just couldn’t bring themselves to vote for Harris, who need attention. That non-vote let him in.

The far right has peaked, Trump pushed it over the edge. That’s their donors going, going, gone. This is all so 2016, dahling!

Full hygiene steps should be taken - disinfect worktops/boards, anything that is used in prep. Also handwashing at all stages. The shells on eggs may be contaminated as well. The reasons that these items are not allowed into the UK.

Trump was impeached - what happened? I understand that no president has left office when impeached.

Good, but pennies compared to what the ‘VIP lane’ defrauded. We need to *see* those people repaying or at least being chased.

The simplistic solutions of populism. It suits those who can’t think or don’t want to.

And there they are! Day off from Twitter perhaps. So sick of those accounts and had to start blocking again.

I do remember him and never thought he was funny. His standup was self-conscious and childish. His ‘bon mots’ likewise.
