Haven't seen lightning since, uhm, yesterday. Haven't heard it for an hour or so, despite a nearby airport.

Android based on linux. But Linux would let me open another app or six and my partial skeet would be there waiting. This is Android sucking. Not just succking, bur worse after updates. Also slower at odd times, unpredictable. Capitalism sucks.

Reminder: Halloween & groundhog day are cross quarter days. Some cultures celebrate the other two.

This one had surgery recently. Recovering. A thing was removed. Vet also didn't know what it was, so sent it out to a lab. 2-3 mm (10th of an inch? If switch to calculator, will have to type whole skeet again, uhg) across. Sat next to him & he fell asleep. Super sweet.

But note that "I'm sorry" and "I apologize" mean the same thing, except when you're at a funeral. English is a weird language. #joke

My dogs do not understand how i can open a jar of peanut butter and close it before eating all of it. It's incomprehensible. But they forget once they've got theirs.

On my sorted list of favorite foods, brussel sprouts is fairly high. At the bottom is raw eel. Slimey, tough, no redeeming features. Have had it 3 times.

Falcon 9 has a reusable 1st stage. New idea with Space-X? No. Was pitched as an alternative to the space shuttle. A smaller shuttle was involved. Never built. Rocket called "fly back 1st stage". It *is* cheaper. BFR hasn't flown yet. Will it? Depends on Musk's money holding out.

He used to sound like he talked to his senior engineers. But the rapid build & test cycle looks like a way to get new working hardware sooner. I'd have expected computer analysis & simulation. Maybe they are doing that & we haven't heard.

Feel weak in stats with a semester. But it's where you see how things work in unintuitive ways the most. Rely on the birthday problem as example. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birthda...
