It’s fair to say this could be a bit better reflected in the media’s coverage

This was yesterday's amendment to the child welfare and schools bill. Not an amendment. The intention to stop the bill at first reading. The only mention of an inquiry into grooming gangs has been tacked onto the end it does. There is no real call for one at all. The bastards are all lying.

She did! Keep repeating it.

In an attempt to justify herself for not raising child sexual abuse ever in Parliament in 8 years until today, Kemi Badenoch gaffed with this: "As a minister, I would not have been speaking on this specific issue. I was not a Home Office Minister." Badenoch was Minister for Children and Families.

Put simply: The McVitie's boss is unhappy about higher taxes and is resorting to excuses and scare tactics to dodge them!

A masterclass in journalism by the excellent Victoria! Well done, Victoria—your question was both fair and incisive. His inability to respond directly and subsequent decision to go on the defensive, attacking both you and the BBC, speaks volumes.

Under previous Conservative governments, we had austerity measures that disproportionately affected the poorest in society. Now, under a Labour government, those with more wealth—the richest—are being asked to pay their fair share. And they don’t like it one bit! How unpatriotic of them.

Dear oh dear... Do they realise they're on camera?! They will, and rightly so, be arrested for failing to stop.

Where was their outrage when people were dying under the previous government for exactly the same reasons? Oh, that’s right—they didn’t care then!

Keep doing what you’re doing—it’s fantastic! 👏

I’m afraid this is one of the main reasons nothing ever gets built in this country. While local views should absolutely be considered and taken seriously, we’ve got to speed up the process—otherwise, progress grinds to a halt. It’s all about finding the right balance.

I’d rather we didn’t get too cosy with the soon-to-be Trump administration. Let’s not forget he’s a sexual predator and a convicted felon, among other dubious achievements. While we shouldn’t ignore him, we certainly shouldn’t align ourselves with him and his circus of clowns.

Absolutely! It’s so nice to see sensible comments getting the attention they deserve without being drowned out by the usual nonsense. Feels like a breath of fresh air!

Excellent response from Greg! As usual, Tim Stanley hasn’t got a clue what he’s talking about but likes to act like an expert. The truth is, he’s just a highly paid columnist for the right-wing Telegraph, whose job is to protect the very wealthy—including fossil fuel lobbyists. Well done, Greg!
