I’m convinced that two working class New Yorkers provide more economic benefit to the city than a single 1%er. The rich are here less, and their wealth is mostly offshore or otherwise untaxable.

Almost by definition, young people need to prioritize hope, ambition, and drive in order to achieve anything. It's not that they don't _believe_ in experience. It's that they're too young _to have it_.

I listened to a Douthat pod where he was promoting everyone being “religious” in some way, but the only framework he provided was a Christian one. Douthat, like most Christians do not know what religions are, but only understand being Christian or not.

Anyone having a way of live different than theirs IS what they consider a threat to their way of life. To them, happiness is no one else being allowed to choose differently.

It’s a safe bet for them, tho, isnt it? They break the rules when in power, safely assume Dems will follow rules when in power, then, under the next GOP Pres, break the rules again at whim.
