Ideologies make terrible governance. Religion is no help either. Gotta keep ‘em separated.

And the part about gutting the judicial powers should make SCOTUS a hater. Let the judicial review begin (if the senate passes that hot garbage).

I don’t recognize him as the Sec. of HHS.
The position is as blank as his stare.

The fact that Trump doesn’t like the press proves it’s free.
What he really doesn’t like is ‘consequences’.
. Do stupid stuff, press writes about it
. Commit crimes, get found guilty
. Appoint unqualified people, they suck at their jobs
. Take money and jobs from people, your party loses elections

I don’t see educated people as elite, but a portion of the electorate does. And that everyone’s problem.
And no one is saying it’s a good thing or we should be ignorant. It’s about how to effectively communicate.

I think her point is we don’t have time to define terms/words.
I hear her say, the threat to democracy is urgent, so use words that work now and avoid language that creates the perception of elitism.
I understand her point.

Or reporters could say, “Laken Riley, bless her soul, has as much to do with this discussion as a bag of chips.
But given your argument, I assume you also believe guns should be deported without question after a school shooting?”

Rewatch and enjoy the bit where the camera faces the journalists. Notice the smiles and smirks from his “colleagues”. No doubt they know that Pool is a tool (sic).

1st, I’m certain Lt. Gov Patrick doesn’t even know what CRT really is & he’s afraid of the unknown, so he’ll ban what he fears. Ignorance.
2nd, dude is operating at light speed - in 2021 the faculty senate declared something & you get to it in 2025! Whoa feller, you’re operating at light speed!

I don’t give a fuck about someone being ‘primaried’.
This moment requires hero’s and sacrifices. Use your podium, use your vote and use your alliances to stop the crumbling of modern, peaceful civilization.
Or else, we’re all going to be in uglier struggles than we can currently imagine.

I’ll tell you what it’s not: a press briefing.
What it is: an opportunity to sell extreme idealism.
Press: walk out, walk away and find the voices of change with real moral fiber. Share those stories.

The WH Press Conference is now a useless exercise for real journalists.
Legit news orgs should leave the West Wing & get your journalistic talents closer to the issues - go to depts, seek out gov heads, find the crimes - investigate.
The news is out there, it isn’t in the James S. Brady room.

And the leap to anger by Abbott is emblematic of the problem:
Today, issues are often so charged that leaving the consequences to elected officials risks disenfranchising a significant portion of your electorate.
And no one wants TX to become CA. That’s trying to get readers to agree via hate.

Fortunately, I am flesh and blood.
I bid you good day Sir!
PS I believe our energy is best focused on fighting the corruption now AND getting as many of the 90M eligible, non-voters to the booth in ‘26.

With respect, I didn’t insist he didn’t cheat, I asked to provide proof that he did.
Anger isn’t enough to convince me, though I feel it too.
The battle today isn’t about ‘24, it has to be around how we slow the roll of garbage politics today and do ALL we can to win midterms in ‘26.

We feel the same way about him, no doubt.
But if we don’t rely on facts to tell the truth and earn trust, then it’s another extreme viewpoint from a different angle.

Look, I don’t like the outcome either, but here’s the evidence I need: Facts. Facts = evidence. Not claims and anecdotes.
It’s a pain in the ass, for sure, but if you claim and believe something enough to share, share a source, when and where so we can validate the truth and trust you.

“..that’s coming out too”
That’s some Q shit. And maybe it’s not, but you have to be able to post a source and share info NOW to make the claim.
Facts.
Truth.
Trust.

Stephen Miller, like Donald Trump, lives in FEAR of things he cannot understand, explain or take the time to learn.
That is called ignorance.

The 2020 election was no more rigged than the 2024 election.
And the evidence shows: neither were rigged.
Move on Trump. Sometimes you lose. That’s life.
