I was part of a seminar to train attorneys on juries. It was an arson fact pattern. One of the lessons was cops lie and juries know it. The most honest person in a stand is typically a firefighter - because juries generally view them as good guys.

We need to save our democracy first before we can fix the country. If we don’t save our country, they are going to either deport, imprison or mass slaughter the rest of us. Again, this is about optics. We have to show Trump isn’t targeting foreign invaders, he is targeting Americans. He is losing supporters because beloved members of their communities, whom they view as Americans, are being taken. To me? The easiest solution is for all of us to fly 🇺🇸 .

This moment is about fighting fascism and that requires a very different strategy. Fascism wins by dividing, by fearing and hating the “other”. They go after one group at a time so that the groups don’t get together to fight the fascists. Fascists are generally a tyrannical minority.
