Zia is still not sure if she likes van camping that much.

Good. How are things going with you? I am rarely on blue sky.

Zia is in her bad weather "safe place." Why do dogs seem to gain lots of weight the longer they sit in your lap?

No matter how much I tried to trick, or disguise, that we're going on a long car ride, she always knows. She's fine with short car rides around town to daycare, the bank, or the park.

When Zia realized that she was going to have to get in the car for a 3-hour drive to the cabin, she tried to hide outside, and then in the bathroom. She couldn't believe she would have to go in the car again after she had just gotten home 4 days before from a 7-hour drive home from a camping trip.

We missed doggy Wednesday last night because we had just gotten home from camping and then we were having to deal with tornado warnings most of the night. Zia is very glad to be home.

A guy on my Nextdoor said a kid "vandalized" his by touching snow that was on it because it could scratch it. He removed the post after people were saying they bet the 2 hours of sleet before the snow must have totaled the car.

Well, we know who is most likely to take the pills, so I'm ok with thinning the herd.

This is the face of a dog who might have tricked me into giving her two suppers tonight.

She has really grown, and her coat is so shiny.

I am actually stunned, but happy, that our local station in Little Rock aired this story. katv.com/news/local/m... #blackfarmers.

We still see you, Henry.

I can't wait to see Nori's new friend.

I even checked my outdoor camera to make sure nothing odd happened while I was gone, and zero. Zia is a very sensitive dog, so who knows. A cheap $80 to find out she was ok.

Came home from tennis, no greeting at the door. Looked guilty/scared. Nothing wrong at home. Wouldn't come to me. Friend came by about an hour later, same thing. No eye contact, ears back. Took to vet, and vet called and said she's running around, tail wagging, greeting people. Nothing wrong.

OMG, that is so awesome!!!!!!

Not current, but this is Zia who was acting so weird that I took her to the vet on Monday, only to find out nothing was wrong with her. Even a friend who happened to come by the that day asked "what is wrong with your dog?" and confirmed that I needed to get her to the vet. Drama queen.

Of course, it's women who did it. Good for them.

So glad I saw this. French is my worthless congressman and I will be adding this to my 5 Calls today.

Yum. BTW, do you happen to know what variety of chile Young Guns uses for their hot chiles? I think they use Big Jim for medium.

I love her.

You are preaching to the choir here. We need more ACTION and less WORDS. Go on the local TV stations in your area and talk about all of this. Fire up your constituents! Go out and hold meetings in area.

The high level of stupidity in this makes my ears pop.

ATC audio captured by @liveatc.bsky.social notes a collision between a CRJ and a helicopter over the Potomac River. The aircraft fitting the description at that time is #AA5342 operated by PSA Airlines for American Airlines. www.flightradar24.com/2025-01-30/0...
