They don't need to start with them, but I'd always recommend playing them at some point.

Game #12 - Quake 2
A contentious entry in the Quake franchise, and the introduction to the Strogg as enemies. This game is great, if a little less visually interesting than it's predecessor, being mostly tech bases, but Nightdive's remaster plays amazingly.

Game #11 - Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
I gave up on this game first time round due it's repetitive combat, but I decided to give it another go, and this time round, it felt almost refreshingly simple. Not as over designed as many modern games.

Sounds like a plan :D
I think I might have to check out some that are within 2 hours train ride for me. Don't fancy taking my wife to Cardiff or Bristol again for art we've already experienced

Maybe a trip to a museum or art gallery might be in order to help cleanse the palate a little.
Get some fine brush work to look at and enjoy for a bit.
Over exposure to anything can be irritating and exhausting.

Game #10 - Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon
My favourite of the Spyro Sequels, combining the power ups seen previously with whole new game mechanics. I might have to give the PS2 games a try now thanks to this.

I great 6 hour game trumps a 60 hour slog any day imo.

Game #9 - Forgive Me Father
A brilliant FPS take on The Shadow over Innsmouth. Plenty of interesting level design, and secrets, secrets, secrets.

Game #8 - Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage
The second 3rd of the Reignited trilogy. Power ups galore, and a host of new characters that we'll see again. I have never beaten this one in the series before, so it was a good time to blast through it and enjoy the ride.

Game #7 - Spyro the Dragon
The first 3rd of the Reignited trilogy down. Not 100% because I hate doing the all in one go challenges on the flying levels. But I remember why I love this Trilogy already. I might 100% it later though if I feel like it.

Game #6 - Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
A long time coming for me, as I would bounce between this and many other games, but I finally finished this masterpiece of open world fantasy.
