That one is the Chilliwack Community Forest.
We’ve also done Chilliwack Mountain, called Hillkeep Regional Park. You can do more than 1.5 km on it. And there’s a lookout point where you can see all the Valley. We loved that one too!

That’s it! This one is my favourite so far! Green trails are the easy ones, we had great fun! There’s a picnic area on Three Bears, but no garbage cans or bathrooms beyond the parking lot.
We tried a blue one called Slug trail, and it was a bit much for me. The hills were higher.

It can be bear country, but in 32 years living here, I’ve never encountered one. Take normal bear precautions - make noise, put garbage in garbage cans, don’t annoy them - and it’s all fine. 💚

Agassiz and Harrison are gorgeous! Harrison has a huge, beautiful lake surrounded by mountains.
Sasja’s favourite forest is 1 exit west of Agassiz, the Chilliwack Community Forest. They have easy hikes there for all ability levels.
Hope you have a great trip! Sounds like fun!

May I recommend Becky Chambers’s Monk and Robot series? Or Discworld, a series by Terry Pratchett? Start with Wyrd Sisters or Guards Guards!

She is! She’s only had a few as we don’t visit Starbucks as we aren’t coffee drinkers, but she really loves them! It was such a huge one!

I know it was written for Canadians. I’m Canadian. I guess I don’t understand what you wrote earlier?

We as Canadians really don’t pay more in taxes. The US pays a fortune in property taxes - after tax income. If we included how much they pay for health insurance? Wow! Plus, we actually get something for our taxes, like proper schools and healthcare.

Canadians pay for “retaliatory” tariffs. The US pays for the tariffs Trump has put on Canada, Mexico, and China. It’s coming from Americans’ pockets.

So we have this kid and Laurie Throness running against Katie Bartel? Are there other candidates?

Then do something about it instead of waiting until the fascists take over here.

I wish they’d had more Royle Family on PBS, but at least we had BBC Canada. But I guess we got Scouse representation through Red Dwarf?

We went to the Swirly Thing Alert with Craig Charles and Robert Llewellyn! It was my first experience with other fans, and I was overcome with happiness. I still have my signed copies of the books.

As a female metalhead since age 14 who knows so many who also love it, it definitely doesn’t undermine our gender identity! Heavy music is for everyone! 🤘🏻

We went to Sam’s out here in B.C., but more importantly, A&B Sound’s legendary Boxing Day sales! It was a great day in downtown Vancouver when you could go to one, then the other.
