Firmly believe social media is for the occasional shouts into the ether. Mental health valve. Big stuff you go to the friends I am certain you have (who might just need a bit of upkeep), but little stuff, i put it here so that when I am actually with folk, I am not *only* a crabby mccraberton.

Honestly a little insane that Clint made the choice to have a character have to turn off the tv so that they could lose their virginity, and on that tv was Clint Eastwood in an episode of Rawhide that would have I guess been airing at the time of this in the 50s…?

Not giving the cast crap, they are all good, but they need to be great, and they’re not, because you can tell they haven’t done this before. Also, they’re all too old after having done this on Broadway for over a decade before doing the movie.

Eastwood notoriously does not like to do a lot of takes… He’ll still create great art because he works with the best of the best. But when he miscasts, whooo boy, whole movie goes out the window. You won’t find better singers than the broadway cast for this but they all feel out of their depth.

What Iiked about his style was it was always distinctly his, neither a retro style nor the overly agro of the mid 90s, can spot a McDaniel page from a mile away. I sadly don’t have any Goblin pages but I do own some from his run at DC but much to my surprise only seem to have one on my phone.

Did you the basement scenes of the Original Night of the Living Dead were shot in their basement? Featured most prominently in Innocent Blood.
