Good News: I took a wonderfully relaxing shower this morning. Ppl with chronic disease will understand how many spoons it cost but was so worth it. Not so good news: my post surgery leg hurts pretty bad. And the rib I separated is being obnoxious. But hey, I smell pretty

One of the traditions I learned while working in the Rio Grande valley was to always greet each and every person in a room, each time you entered the room, and prior to leaving the house, by name if possible. Now it seems very normal & respectful. As a transplant from Kansas, it felt excessive.
