Nothing justifies the absurd level of government overreach and no optics makes it any less bad.

The average Atlantic stink piece headline be like: "Why Medicare for All is actually terrible for the working class and minorities."

Identical energy to a conservative pundit listing off gay marriage, abortion, and reparations as scary socialist nightmare dystopia politics.

I do because I only accept conclusive, hard evidence for anything that comes out of warmongers mouths on The We Live Wars channel.

I like how they think the runoffs in ranked choice would last long enough to impede people who don't rank the full slates. They should cry and wrong their hands more about POC not wanting to rank say, a racist sex pest.

So what about when I change my body with science and don't fit the reproductive role any more?

"a Nazi dweeb and a boomer Neocon who was mad about not defending Ukraine from what he still thinks is the Soviet Union are totally Iranian agents you guys."

Unbelievably irrelevant to the point I'm making even though it's true.

Right.. but I'm talking about people who exist in online echo chambers. So the general public has nothing to do with it.

Well it's only been an hour since midnight but this is already the most Sephiroth-coded post I'll see all day

There's a section online who basically do whatever in the name of business overlords interests. They don't go outside very much though so not sure I'd have a lot of luck looking for them out there

He's flip flipped teams at least twice now.

I'd hope not, that'd be sad. I want you to be able to do more than just heckling when it comes to fascism. And it's impossible to do that without understanding how we got here.

i also hesitate to take any apology from you, given your own personal guns blazing bad faith arguing. you definitely have done this to many many other people and should reflect on those impulses.

he's definitely beholden to their interests though. objectively. there's plenty of policy changes he didn't touch because of some rich lobbyist or another. just like any other president so far. he does seem to believe, at least, in extending help to the little guy in many cases.

sometimes i worry that my brains rotting from not using it enough ever since i left school. but then i see this and i remember "holy shit, at least i'm still capable of forming my own independent thoughts and opinions so clearly i'm not actually that bad."

yes, i praised him for his progress. i was appalled that the courts stopped one of the best reforms he put forward. that's why I wanted Kamala to step in, continue, and add to it. taking a nuanced view and criticizing where things could be improved on isn't contradictory to that.

more and more assumptions and strawmen. i've got curry and naan with my name on it, so I think I'll leave you hanging until after you decide to stop being full of piss, assumptions, and vinegar.
comment in response to post
i don't believe i've ever clarified what i mean by changing the tactics. you're just making assumptions again. can you please try to formulate an argument where you avoid doing that? it'll make having adiscussion like a grown-up easier.

I won't sell out my morals and principles by just shutting up when I think people I generally support are doing harm in the world. Why would I do that? I'm not stupid. I have real convictions.

We got shit on constantly to the point the withered, saddened wojak going "healthcare pls" is a meme probably everyone has seen at least once. Because thats us! That's how we feel!

I refuse to be gaslit about the last decade of politics. I was there for it! I watched tons of young people like me decide to shoot for Bernie on the Dem ticket, eager to support Democrats willing to adopt even just a few planks from him. And then we got shit on for being "populist" and a "cult" lol
