Totally bonkers! Downright arrogant and ignorant. Thankfully, experts and local politicians pushed back after the water was initially released. It would have been nicer if the Army Corps communicated in advance so the entire thing wasn’t a debacle.

It’s definitely positioned that way by MSM and text books. But was it that way for everyone? What about the people who couldn’t get a house due to red-lining and other horrible laws? Or folks who got caught with a house in a town where the factory went bust?
