The first time I covered this massive board game event was back in 2018. It was well-established at the Birmingham NEC. So, technically speaking, this is my 6th @ukge.bsky.social. tabletopgamesblog.com/2025/06/07/u... #reviews #boardgames #exhibitions #events #shows #UKGE2025 #UKGamesExpo

Do you know what I forgot to hand out at #UKGE2025? Tabletop Games Blog pin badges! So, if you saw me and would have wanted one, DM me your address and I’ll post one over as quickly as I can. 🙂👍 #UKGamesExpo #PinBadges

Seeing @czechgamesedition.bsky.social's 10th anniversary edition of Codenames at #UKGE2025 was interesting. It has an insert, a card stand made of RE-Wood®, and new innocent bystanders. They even tweaked the word list to make the game better. Can't wait to try it soon. 😊👍 #boardgames #UKGamesExpo

Should you be in the Edinburgh area and want to watch tiny robots in battle then come to this event! Featuring me and @jamsandwich.bsky.social as commentators! www.ticketsource.co.uk/battle-in-th...

The variety of games that @smirkanddagger.bsky.social releases is huge. I saw them at #UKGE2025 and was given a review copy of This Game is Killer: Alien on Board. Can't wait to try this. I loved The Night Cage, but Killer is more of a party game, which will be interesting. 🙂👍 #UKGamesExpo

I was also really pleased to get a review copy of Boitas from Kheo Games at #UKGE2025. It's a trick-taking game with deck-building. I love both mechanisms and wonder what this Indian publisher has created. 😊👍 #UKGamesExpo #boardgames #cardgames

It's always nice to get review copies from indie publisher, but getting Club of Cthulhu from Play With Us Design from Taiwan is even more special. Thank you. Can't wait to try this and review it in due course. 😊👍 #boardgames

The June board game #raffle in aid of UK food banks is now open. Prizes are review copies of Katmai and Death Valley: Highs & Lows, both played but in great condition, and a brand new copy of Pilfering Pandas. Please share far and wide and enter here: tabletopgamesblog.com/raffle #charity #prizes

I wrote up my thoughts from this year's UKGE while it's still fresh in my brain. As fresh as it's ever going to be, at least. I miss everyone and everything already, despite being overwhelmed a lot of the time. Links to everyone and everything included. punchboard.co.uk/uk-games-exp...
