Well, the one on DigiKey is a VL3032 and limited to 3V. The original part is a CGL3032 3.7V lithium ion. I can't find an LIR3032 part with solder tabs. Would a LIR2032 work as long as the leads reach?

It does look like there’s an internal short in the connector. The voltage changes when it’s not the dark orange. I just tested the PRAM battery and it is indeed dead. Ordering a replacement from DigiKey

I was going to order several different boards just for the connector but noticed some have surface mount while this one is through-board.

I’ll have to unsolder it from the board to see if I can repair it. In the mean time I ordered a spare from eBay.

I went through the arduous process of getting the audio/dc board out. Did some bench testing. The power supply is good but I think the connector on the board has internal problems. It will light correctly if I put pressure on it.

The problem with this is that being rational doesn’t mean reacting to something factual. Someone can believe something is true but still react rationally as if it is true. Rationality does not confer truth to the
threat, only that the threat is perceived as true.
