I think it might look a bit too busy if you try to edge the colour contrast too much. Some of the armour has a lot of little panels!

Yeah I I was also considering a lavender/blue scheme but it's harder to make work in my head. Thinking I'll do metallic turquoise when I eventually get around to my dark eldar

That sounds nice! I think for me it's wanting to get main army colours I don't have yet. I have red white black and purple so it's yellow orange green blue and brown to go

My main idea for now is a high saturation green as the main cloth colour, reddish brown for leathers, black for the secondary cloth colours. Maybe a blue tinted silver or bronze for the metal? I think it's the metal that's the hard choice. Probably do them on a sandy base

I feel you I'll likely pick them up in the future, but u might grab a second batallion box. I love the models in it, especially the artillery. The only problem. Now is how do I choose a colour scheme?

Update: I was decimated by someone who was utracompetitive and would only explain any of his mechanics when I'd triggered his gotcha moments. I usually have fun in games even if I lose but this wss the first game I had where I have to say it wasn't fun.
