I bought my first gachapon toy from this series a few months back, it's a mini gachapon machine with tiny balls inside and it's delightful. This series is a great concept.

I can understand that feeling and I did have to look up something once in this game near the end, but i also think mystery games like this always going to have some frustration by the need to create mystery.
It does better than most in its category IMO (Tunic, Obra Dinn, etc)

Just the fact youre using billboards. Ive tried using billboard effects for things like tree fronds but at that scale the lack of depth becomes obvious and distracting, hence why i was curious.

oh damn it holds up really well! Will depth be a problem with a shader like this in VR or are you counting on the fact the object is small enough?

While ive seen worse, it did feel revealing as to the culture and groups of people that work at VFX companies. Not a good idea giving them creative control 😬

Yeah, i usually try gachas in the beginning when theyre generous before they put the squeeze on players and the art style feels a lot more like modern FF games, where's you have these very clean character aesthetics combined with high fidelity textures and lighting.

I stopped playing early on but i legit recorded some of the music from the game before i stopped, the musicians are going way harder than the rest of the game is ready for.

I personally don't, but according to at least two acquaintances of mine it's genuinely faster and more productive for them to use gAI and catch its mistakes.
It's a bad idea for most people but even if you don't like it like I do, it's useful to keep in mind the few cases where people use it well

I agree with basically any AI criticism and i don't say this to be a jerk, but i figured i'd mention that id you're enough of an expert in your field like programming, you're able to utilize it as you can catch its mistakes. Otherwise you SHOULD 👏 NOT 👏 USE 👏 IT (ignoring other ethical issues).

I totally get the inclination but i literally moved back from Linux to Windows in December after several months due to consistent incompatibility and driver problems, even just for games and notes.
If you do it, take it slow, Linux needs time for enough people to demand software compatibility.

While it's impossible to totally do it with a phone given the multiple uses it has in your life, ive at least barrier down the possibility space i give myself.
Only one page of apps per focus group, mostly widgets, no folders. It keeps things focused and reduces out of focus app usage.

While i dont have the money to switch out my old iPad for a Supernote, it still works and i've deliberately removed most apps to make it more of an appliance that lets me write notes.

Yeah, i usually find it hard to reciprocate those feelings even though i know the people i'm around at the moment mean it sincerely.
When a holiday is built around familial interaction and your family is just bad, nothing about it means the same, it's hard to remove that history from it.
