Wat?
comment in response to post
Let me know if they do, and I'll call up all the people I lost arguments to those many years ago

You're also leaving out that it was never linked to Trump. I know all of this because I used to look for things to argue with Trump voters about, but I eventually gave up because it never went anywhere. Nowadays, I hate Dems and the media more than I ever hated Trump

So nice! Brushstrokes feel alive and color is wonderful

Yeah, but it wasn't Trump is a Russian asset under Putin's control because there's a video of him getting pizzed on by a prostitute. This is the other part of the problem. No one believes even the tame stuff now because you're all bigger liars than Trump
comment in response to post
Years of Russiagate nonsense, multiple nothingburger impeachments, and "this is the end of democracy" played in an infinite loop make "every economist in the country says his policies are bad" seem sane
comment in response to post
It was only sane compared to all of the previous dumb shit that was said

"If only there were more headlines calling trump a Nazi, we would have won" is a ridiculous take

Why did we leave Twitter to come to a site that just posts Twitter screenshots?

You all act like it's the end of the country until it's time to nominate a good candidate

You're reminding me I forgot batteries today 😞

Middle manager seems like the least appealing destination to me too, and for my kids I'm trying to help them ask these same questions about a career. It's hard to navigate

Janitors kept the world turning, but if you want to get into programming, I believe in you

Sensing a promotion in your future
comment in response to post
Yeah it's the same for me. I have a programming job doing random stuff all the time. Fix this cert, track down these credentials, set up this connection or pipeline, blah, blah, but actual coding I'm so rusty
comment in response to post
Oh crap. You all get it, but can you not talk about it? If the right wing gets wind of this, they'll shut it down. What a clusterfuck this all is
comment in response to post
It was actually that we are too stupid to educate. Fuck off would have been nicer

You now post about Twitter over here

Wdym hearing it for the first time? Where have you been?
comment in response to post
You initially brought it up as a way to paint prolifers as shockingly out of touch religious freaks, but now that we are digging in, it requires careful research
comment in response to post
I don't know. You sounded so confident initially that I expected at least something. Maybe a clip on the news where some prominent person somewhere was on the record saying they liked the murders or bombing?
comment in response to post
Ah. So you just don't understand what the purpose of the New Testament is. I wish you had stated it so plainly earlier

Is celebrating?
comment in response to post
Yeah I posted a link that said the ACLU, the State of California, and goddam Planned Parenthood didn't support a ban. How much more proof do I need that this isn't exclusively a Christian position after those examples?

The only third party doing better is the Libertarian Party, but they take corporate money as holy sacrament. I'm proud of the Green Party's grassroots accomplishments

The Scotsman fallacy may be your salvation here. The only thing that disqualifies you from being a Scotsman is not being from Scotland. Now what would be the equivalent disqualification for a Christian? Not following Christ. Bingo
comment in response to post
Asking about who's celebrating this terrorism
comment in response to post
Stepping out of my ass to look up the history of child marriage legislation since I don't know much about it, and it looks like bans have also failed in California, a famously not Republican state. The ACLU and Planned Parenthood also argue against bans www.nbcnews.com/politics/pol...
comment in response to post
That we celebrate when people kill doctors and bomb clinics, or that we protect the sanctity of child marriage, or that we even want that at all

Officially requesting receipts for any of these claims

The corporate uniparty squeezes them out. They will always have my respect for fighting what seems increasingly to be an unwinnable battle. Since Ross Perot did so well in the nineties, both parties have mobilized to make sure something like that never happens again

Conservatives donate more to charity than abortionlovers actually. Even when controlling for income

You're all rooting for Project 2025 at this point

Bullshit
comment in response to post
They have been building from the bottom with no corporate help. They're also the creators of the policies the Dems pretend to support like the Green New Deal, and they actively organize demonstrations and protests. You should watch the Breakfast Club episode where they address these critiques
