The struggle is real. I keep narrowing my criteria and then discover more pens that fit the criteria. <sigh>

And never let someone convince you that's a bad thing. It may be the only thing keeping us from buying all the pens.

Nice, or at least I think raw means good. What pen? Looks like a fude nib.

Straight up brass or the enameled one that comes with sandpaper?

What pen is that?

Seconding the cleaning suggestion. I have an ef E95s and it's generally a wet pen for an ef. It only feels dry when running out of ink (last night). Best of luck.

We're bypassing them and just renewing passports.

Picked it up from our local bookstore on Saturday. Love it. Very funny and you've snuck in a bunch of actual useful information. I will submit a review.
One complaint though. This bright yellow book hides on the shelf with its blue binding. You'll need your boculars to find it.

I tend to skim as I read. What I got in the first glance was "I promise you, on the gravestone of my grandmother, gopher snakes fucking."

I'm looking for a new pen model that's selling well and the manufacturer is going to continue making them. I always feel there's something wrong that forces production to stop.

While I love many Chinese dumplings, they can't touch decent ravioli.

I like their song. Start out really loud... and then gets louder.

Took a bit to break my mind free and understand what you're talking about.

Could be a poor opinion for the quality of the local bread.

Best example of the pen affecting the color for the Kingfisher Green.

I don't recognize A. I'd go for Asvine, Ackermann, or Aurora.
P would be Pelikan, as much as I love Pilot.

I recommend finding a grip section that will stop your fingers from sliding down. Hooded nib pens or anything with a smooth transition to the nib may not work for you.
What pen are you using?

I'll stick with E-6000.

The Fountain Pens feed is generally doom free. It's a whole 'nuther rabbit hole you may not want to go down though.

He's got the money and tech to execute his plans. He should just leave for Mars or replace his brain with a computer and show us how it's done.

Yeah, that's a bit nuts. $35-65 from reputable retailers.

Get a nice fountain pen friendly notebook while you're at it.

Do you find the Prera priced high? It's only slightly higher than the Explorer here. I think of it as a poor man's PGS.

I like the Explorer and have 2. I also like that it can use the con70 converter. I'm not a fan of cigar pens or the Metropolitan's big step up to the body. The Kakuno and Prera are nice too.

Both good pens. Waterman is lacquered brass and cartridge or converter. Nahvalur is a resin body piston filler. Grip section looks narrower on the Waterman. I prefer smaller sections. I like my Schuylkill and my, similar, Waterman Expert.

For me. I know other pen folks that love 13 and 15mm grip sections. And some have hand issues that make using small sections painful or tiring.

Nice review. I bought the Tuzu a few months ago to try out. Love the look, the snap of the cap, and the nib. I can't use the section. The rotation feature is great. It's just too big. I need something smaller than about 11.5 mm or my hand gets fatigued.
