Nick Pink started in 14th in the 1982 Arrows A5 for the first of the two Masters Racing Legends races at the Brands Hatch Masters Historic, finishing in 12th. Unfortunately, despite starting in 12th for the second race, he fell back to 13th one lap down. Car details in the alt

Can-Am veterans returned to battle once again. The McLaren M1B driven by Greensall & Spiers being chased by the Lola T70 Mk2 Spyder of Seaman & Newall. I believe both the McLaren (Chassis No. M1B-30-03) & Lola (I think Chassis No. SL71/40) both competed in the 1966 Can-Am Series.

Mark Higson in the ex-Niki Lauda 1982 McLaren MP4/1B at Stirlings Bend during the second race for the Master Racing Legends classic F1 cars. This car was driven by Lauda to victory at the 1982 British Grand Prix at Brands Hatch, in his comeback year after retiring near the end of the 1979 season.

A bit more of the veteran 42-100882 Drag 'em Oot, a C-47A-75-DL Skytrain which saw service on D-Day and in Operation Garden, damage from which is still in evidence all over the airframe with patch repairs visible all over the forward fuselage. The aircraft carries its authentic D-Day markings.

Scottish Aviation Bulldog T.1 XX624 at the North Weald Fly-in. The aircraft was built in 1974, and it flew with the Royal Air Force until 2001 and has since been registered as G-KDOG.

Been a fair few years since I last saw GT3s on track, and the cars have certainly changed a fair bit since then. The majority at Brands Hatch were McLaren 720S GT3s, with the Paddock Motorsport Number 10 car proving rather dominant on Sunday.

A fairly unknown corner of Duxford is the Aircraft Restoration Company's Stephenson Hangar, which has a viewing gallery that can be accessed by going past AirSpace and through the little car park to the first building. Always interesting to pop by and see what's being worked on.

Boeing C-17A Globemaster III 07-7185 arriving at RAF Mildenhall. 07-7185 first flew in 2009 and was delivered to the USAF that year. It is operated by the 437th AW which is based at Charleston AFB in South Carolina.

A rare beast in the UK, for a number of reasons, Bell P-63 Kingcobra 44-4315 at the Wings Aviation Museum. This aircraft was recovered from the far east of Russia, having fought against Japanese forces in the final stages of the Second World War.
