People that don’t have a fascination with ANYTHING from the past, at all, are we even the same species?

Being chronically ill for me was such a great incentive that I had to move out of my hometown into a place which feels alien and live with people who are ableist, abusive and re-activate my CPTSD. /s

But telling me they'll happily offer assisted suicide as an 'option'. Not supporting me. Why will so few support us?
My family should be cherished for their sacrifices but they're invisible, underappreciated, undervalued. Now I'm at risk of being wiped out, too.
Eternally invisible. No respect.

It’s not just the NHS. It’s wider society/everyone. No one believes you or takes you seriously or just takes your word for things. (Except the few that do, which in my experience have always been autistic) 💙

When does it get to a point where you’ve had enough of M.E* being treated as if it’s a ‘made up illness/all in the mind/you’re just not trying hard enough/have you tried exercising’ (and its sibling conditions like POTS) by the NHS. And you can’t afford to get private healthcare.

I can’t help but wonder, as younger people *tend* to have better values towards trans people than boomers, did his younger husband influence him in a good way?

In countries where disabled people can't claim benefits, people either end up being supported by their families if they are lucky, push through working and becoming more unwell, or end up homeless or dead.

As a late diagnosed autistic adult, it's simply not coincidental that this government is pursuing both assisted dying (without any guardrails to protect people with disabilities), and historic cuts to disabled living support simultaneously.
This Bill merely encourages creeping fascist eugenicism.
