This is one part of why I wake up in full Flight or Fight mode every day that I look at the world. Because – with or without resistance – this “kill the deviants” onslaught is coming for all of us that it hasn’t gotten to yet. And by “us”, I mean whoever is declared an enemy tomorrow.

My in-progress art of today (after Max Ernst). Believe it or not, when finished this will be part of a late Mother’s Day gift!

Feral queer: new art from my sketchbook. I’m still rebuilding my habit of making art for myself and my misfit heart

Still making art, one or two small sketches at a time, rebuilding my art muscles

My ADHD mind loves the positivity and simplicity of making and moving on. It lessens my fear of cartooning. I am good at what I do. I’m afraid to start again. My mind will keep hurting me if I never make comics again

Make comics. Actually make them and FINISH them and MOVE ON and make another one and another. Start small. Make a one panel comic. Make a one page comic. Make a two or three page comic. Make a five page comic. Now you've really learned something! Keep going.

Crawling back towards creating again. Raw ideas from my sketchbook

Just a reminder to folks that if you: A) live in the US B) don’t have health insurance, C) make less than 5x the Federal Poverty Limit ($63k for a household of 1, $108k for a household of 3), you can get PrEP and the medication will be at no cost to you through this program:

“Sun up, sun down”. 1/3. A comic by me with strange and surrealist David Bowie vibes #comics #weirdart
