I mean, the case *for* https – it stops ISPs and other middlemen from tampering with traffic – feels like one of those rare unambiguous wins to me, at least while LE exists. So I'm actually pretty curious if I'm missing something

Huh. I've read that twice now, but am still not getting it, what's the objection to encryption? If it's just "it's my site and I don't want to" ... honestly, that's perfectly reasonable, I fully support that. But beyond that, is there some technical or principled objection that I'm missing?

i've always thought that drowning in his gold-plated toilet would be the funniest way to go, but this would have been a masterpiece we are all the poorer for it, having been denied a real-life reenactment of Forklift Driver Klaus

ok look ... all presidential candidates are always a target for nutjobs, but they very rarely get this close this often ... sort of suspect the secret service's heart just is not in this
