Sounds like we need Tobias(Elektro Trucker) to go and test this out.

@ludicrousfeed.bsky.social Our very own Hollywood Riz in the background of Gav's video so we know where Bonza then took him this week. Once permitted he can tell us all about his trip on the livestream.

One of these possible destinations my thinking is Shanghai but could be LA for a car launch like Polestar 5 perhaps global launch event.

Yeah and No EVs use it not high quality enough. Used for stainless steel mainly.

Love small towns, grew up in one a mere 2,000 people, am not a big city type at all.

Sounds like choice needs some education on electric cars.

Look forward to seeing you there in November then. Here's hoping it's successful or well as with some of their other events globally it may be the first and last.

Loved it!! Particularly love at the talk when you mention about getting off these Apps/RFID payment to get the mass market onboard it needs to be as simple as paying for Petrol. With Tap & Go or Plug & Charge. I understand there may be some early adopters who want Apps and they can keep them.

So in a few years should we be seeing "Porsche/VW a wholly owned subsidiary of <Chinese Automaker>, now making pure EV's exclusively"?

Yeah Dom just watched a review from Europe on the new CLA, fantastic car and NOT an SUV finally! As I learned from the OG Top Gear I'm not an Audi owner/driver so the Merc version is more my type of car. Look forward to seeing Dave's review of it and hopefully long road trip.

Yet another SUV though Gav and until it's been thoroughly tested and charging/road-trip/etc whether it's any better to their original attempt.

Nice, would be curious what you would have pulled if you'd arrived around 10% or bit less suspect you would have got 205kW as your peak as long as it was good weather and the battery was optimum.

That it was, did you see him? Just watched your video but went to the Geely website seems they have unique dealers not Volvo dealers as I thought maybe for areas that are more remote or Tasmania that has zero Geely dealers and therefore the order means traveling to Victoria to pickup. 😔

Just watched it and subscribed btw, thought I was subscribed but seems I wasn't.

2027 is abit nuts should've been 2026 but then this is legacy auto 'hard at work'. ugh.

What speeds did you pull although depends on your arrival SoC of course lower the better.

Help pay for the install of the panels. Any idea what payback period is for your install?

@ludicrousfeed.bsky.social @rizflip Hey Tom...you or Riz thinking of this or perhaps another auto show like Shanghai this year at all?

Is Richard sitting next to you perchance? :) Would have loved to see you both and finally met Richard but budget wouldn't allow it this year but will be at Melbourne EE in November hopefully you'll be there as well.
comment in response to post
I stayed there last year well I was in the cheaper hotel but all in same building just different elevators/lifts but same restaurant/bar. Saw Bobby, Elliot, Dan, Jack as they all stayed in the Novotel part. Jealous but budget just wasn't there, Melbourne in November instead. :)

@ludicrousfeed.bsky.social Could be one way to disguise the fact you own a Tesla. :)

Know it's a typo, I think, but definitely is a 'rump administration' going on.
