Don’t forget about the 3 million emails it’ll send you for random garbage you don’t care about!

Also why does Google want me to always open YouTube to confirm 2FA requests now instead of just putting the code in 🙃

I hate when work or school (or stuff like Steam) all try and start pushing their own 2FA solution on you. Can’t we just stick to the standard so we can use Authy, Google Authenticator, or whatever for everything? Why does everyone want to do their own thing.

I swear that kind of dumb thinking feels universal. I hate it so much. I’ve seen it at all kinds of jobs. Anybody with a brain should realize it’s better to get newbies in and get them trained up BEFORE you urgently need them, but nah. Clearly it’s better to wait til after the last second.

Totally get the annoyance of landlords being jerks though. Idk why giving notice is so hard.

For what it’s worth I had a similar experience a year or two ago. From what I remember they came and looked at things and then another day came and did the windows. They replaced 4 windows in my case (old af original ones with modern ones) and it took a good chunk of that day.

I wish I could have been part of that number but I left years ago when (imo) it already had become a much less useful or positive experience

Tunic wasn’t for me, but wow. That is a beautiful physical edition.

I was never a pro but did some transcribing on Rev for money on the side years ago. I remember they changed to using automatically generated transcriptions that you’d just correct instead of starting from scratch and it was such a PITA I just quit immediately.

It’d also encourage people to invite people that they think they can actually trust to behave reasonably and not sell invites on eBay and all that nonsense

Or invite privileges suspended at the very least. Though to be fair I wonder what rule you could even enact to prevent them. I mean I’m sure there are people that want to follow novelty accounts so until they change over to spam what can you even do? But by then it’s too late.

I’ll miss those glory days forever.

I had a lot of amazing experiences on it way back in like 2011/2012. I used to do amateur games journalism and it was really awesome for making connections and getting news on stuff (esp indie stuff. Also met some of my best friends on there. But then yeah it really changed for the worse.

Tbh it’s not really that surprising. Don’t we get an invite code every few weeks or something? So then so will the spam accounts and they can just keep growing and growing and growing their network of accounts.

Just order it as a small and I’m sure they’ll know what you mean.

You can use whatever you want for the regex portion, you just need to choose something you are willing to use in all your posts you want to appear in the feed. So if it’s an emoji you will have to always use that emoji.

Whatever you put in the “regex” field is what will need to appear somewhere in the post for it to appear in your pics feed. You also configure it so that it only looks for matching posts made by you, and then boom - separate media feed of only your stuff.
