the only legal services on this report are not for john lesch who sued in ward 2 but we love mpls do have a 501c4 too, maybe it paid him?

we know he is a real person and he has multiple accounts on platforms like this and IG. he was at ward 2 in support of michael baskins

All their vendor spend before April was allocated equally to all 15 candidates they supported, so I'm guessing it went toward publicizing their list of endorsed candidates. In April they spent more on print advertising for specific candidates, but not the three incumbents.

the finance report does list their expenditures on payroll for staffers, however it does not include a ward by ward breakdown for the canvassing efforts. in total we love mpls spent $163,837.56 on payroll / canvassing

we love mpls spent $$ for 3 candidates for the ward 5 open seat: pearll warren, miles wilson, and anndrea young, $6300 each so in total nearly $19k to defeat ethrophic burnett, the candidate who is endorsed by outgoing CM jeremiah ellison

as of 5/31, we love mpls had an ending cash balance of $32,779.14 and unpaid bills and loans nearly double that amount, $61,088.74

didn't even stick around to face what strahan did lol

I am enjoying the fact that they pissed away over $9400 of landlords' money on Marques Jones only to have him ride off on his lawnmower before the convention.

my favorite is spending any amount of money in the ward 13 race given there is no challenger to linea palmisano. you could argue it's to drive turnout in favor of the mayor, but this is ward 13. you don't need to put in effort to have that happen naturally
comment in response to post
however the most money combined has gone into the efforts to oust robin wonsley and katie cashman, with more than $15k+ spent between michael baskins and shelley madore in ward 2 and the same amount in ward 7 on elizabeth shaffer and paula chesley
comment in response to post
for candidate spending, highest totals per candidate are on lydia millard in ward 10 and brian strahan in ward 1, both of whom have had more than $10k spent on their races millard is running against council VP aisha chughtai and strahan against council president elliott payne

$5k from reuter walton development in st louis park. $10k from wellington management of st paul. $10k from toro restaurants in plymouth. $500 from fritz kroll of edina realty

one big donation to we love mpls is $35,000 from the downtown council. and lots of real estate donations from outside minneapolis - $72,585 from the minnesota multi housing association in bloomington. $5k from robert fransen of bloomington's timberland partners
