Who did they dump? These two people? Or some other hosts?

How about Home Depot? Anybody know about them? I know that historically, going back many years now, they’ve often been on the wrong sides of issues.
And how about Ace, or True Value, or other hardware store chains? Anybody know about them?

Why is it that people will inevitably decide to not finish reading the book after they’ve started it?

I thought it was Home Depot doing the crappy stuff, and that Lowe’s was staying on the high road.
Are you sure about this list?

For more info on how bookshop.org helps local independent bookstores, I found these parts of their website that talks about it:
bookshop.org/info/about-us
bookshop.org/pages/bookst...
Now, to find out why then don’t list my town’s independent store, and how to request/suggest that it get added.

Oh, and here’s more information about it I found on their website: bookshop.org/info/about-us

I just learned that bookshop.org is a good alternative to Amazon, keeping money out of the corrupt pockets of Trump and his cronies, and putting money into local independent bookstores.

Do you know why the local independent bookstore in my town wouldn’t be on the list? Is there a way to suggest or request a bookstore to be included?

I don’t understand how bookshop.org works.
Their website doesn’t explain anything about it, other than a vague “supports your local bookstore“ type of comment, and the local independent bookstore in my town does not show up on the bookstore-finder part of their website.
Can anyone here explain?

I found it on Libby, but not on Hoopla.

YES, but if all possible, buy the book, or gift her, through something other than Amazon! (like your local bookstore, directly from her publisher, request extra copies at your library)

I’ve been wondering if there’d be anybody turning down the pardon, basically for that reason. Now I’m interested to hear her story and what she’s about, that she would’ve participated in whatever way she did, but then had this turn to integrity.

Hoopla is another app like Libby. I think there’s at least one more, too. Maybe even more than that.

Got it… never mind… I just looked it up & read about it… “By this law, Lewis means that pro-feminist internet content inevitably draws sexist reactions from men. In other words, simply mentioning feminism can provoke hateful, misogynist comments from male trolls”
Yep true - I’ve totally seen that :/

Sorry, I might be pretty slow or dense, but I’m not following. I didn’t understand your answer.

I’ve read comments on plenty of articles about feminism in my life.
I seem to remember that there are plenty of comments on those articles that don’t justify the existence of feminism.
Am I wrong?
Are you saying that all, some or most of the comments justify the existence of feminism?
comment in response to

Wouldn’t it more accurately be “most comments…“, or “many comments…“?
Or is it the case that *all* comments on an article about feminism justify the existence of feminism?

That’s because everybody back then, including the right, remembered what the environment was like before our industrialization & greed thrashed it.
Most people still alive today don’t really remember what a good environment is, so they don’t know what we should be helping protect & get us back to.
