Turns out, "MPD will not assist ICE" comes with a lot of very specific caveats. MPD will absolutely assist ICE with crowd control. MPD will absolutely assist on raids that include ICE but are, after the fact, declared to not be ICE. Watch what is being promised. Ask for more.
