Football is the most the important of unimportant things. All the trophies in the world are nothing beside this little girls life.

Grant regarded the Confederates as rebels and traitors. As well as white supremacy and slavery, That's what that flag represents.

The same was said about many Irish rebels against British rule. A lot were executed.

Taco is afraid that someone, somewhere, might say something a little bit nasty about him.

Are these vile, inhuman, cowardly scum proud of themselves? They are on a level with the Stasi, Assad's secret police or the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. I hope some day they are all staring through prison cell bars - from the inside!

He's testing the courts to see if they can actually stop his dictatorship. Court orders have to be enforced.

When blues was a huge Influence on pop/rock, many singers did. But Dusty Springfield, the Beatles, Sting, the Jam, Sex Pistols, Oasis, Blur, the Stone Roses and others sang in their own accents. Van Morrisons Belfast accent is heard in his singing.

Elon is inappropriately dressed for the oval office. Trump likewise. Straitjackets would be more desirable.

Just finished The Woman Who Saved the Children. Excellent. I haven't got around to Agent Zo yet. Soon.

It's correct to express anger and sorrow at the suffering of Palestinian people. They don't deserve to die. They need peace and security, not Netanyahu, not Hamas either, something Corbyn conveniently omits. Don't forget the attacks on Israel on October 7th, and the hostages still held.

Wishing you all the best from other side of the Atlantic Ocean. The US has need of intelligent leaders.

Perhaps reporters should just ignore Taco, He'd hate that.

Seeing his face every day would be like going past a crumbling derelict building. You just wish someone would put something nice in its place.

How does he know he wouldn't be in the hypothetical situation in the first place? Peterson talks nonsense.

He has zero chance of ever being a wise guy.

And with that level of stupidity, she's allowed to drive?

Good luck to Wrexham. Go for it and ignore the pundits.

If bullshit produced heat, the US would be burning up.

Clothes he has, however recent observations have indicated no presence of intelligence, empathy or humanity.

Player gets ball, scores. No foul, looks like a good goal to me...

Absolutely. Thousands of fans wanting to celebrate the joy of success. It's awful that someone would want to destroy that moment.

I've sometimes see old annoying drunks on the street abusing everyone around them. They usually get taken off by the police and let sleep it off. The US thought it would be fun to elect one as President. Strange.

Me too, he's a great character and brilliantly played by the great Jason Robards. It's a feature of Leone films. several good actors and one outstanding character actor, not always the lead. Others include Volonte, Wallach and Steiger. They make good movies great.

Lovely sentiments, he even remembered to mention Clough.

Awful news. I hope no-one is seriously injured. The thoughts of all decent sports fans should be with the Liverpool supporters this evening.

Go through terrestrial channels and it's endless so-called reality shite, soaps, repeats, awful 'history' docs, etc. Very little sport or movies, unless you pay extra. Radio is more interesting.

He was like that in 2016.

I know that pain. Words can't describe it. Time and the comfort of friends will ease your suffering.

Peter Alexander was treated shamefully. No excuse for that behaviour whatsoever.

Inadequate education and lack of critical thinking seem to be major contributary factors.

It's difficult to imagine that in the 21st century, the age of technology, someone as brain-dead stupid and ignorant could be elected as President. He demeans the office, the government and the nation.

No need for any such zone if Russia stops its aggression.

Hamas knew what it was doing on Oct 7th, 2023. Commit murder, rape and grab hostages, and watch as Israel reacts as expected with Netanyahu in charge. Anti semitism rises around the world. Palestinian civilians are just useful tools in the Hamas propaganda effort. This war must stop now.

I know only a little about American politics, but I think the time for impeachment is now past. The man and his entire odious regime need to be removed from office before he does irreparable damage to the nation.

I love it when a player does this, instead of endless passing around, just sees a half chance, and goes for it. Not everyone can do it like Pirlo though...
